to think this woman is mad for saying she'd ket her kids sleep with Michael Jackson?

Woman at work (and MJ fan) said she'd be very happy for her kids to share a bed with Michael Jackson (mind you - she hasn't got any kids). When I said I wouldn't allow my kids to sleep in the same bed as any adult that wasn't family - she quoted the bible at me!!!(something about as MJ was child like he would enter the kingdom of heaven) and told me that I should trust people!

AIBU thinking she's a bit of a fruit loop?

she ain't got kids and MJ is now dead so this is all a bit of a misnoma, innit? YANBU in thinking she's a bit nuts though! (maybe she'd be hoping for the £millions for keeping it all quiet)

I did try to take the MJ bit out of the equation and pick someone who has not been accused of child molestation and is alive by asking whether she'd let her children (imaginary) sleep with Johny Depp. She said "as long as he was a friend then yes".

I said " If he was a friend, the kids would get shoved out the way!"

Yeah, sounds rather fruity to me. I wouldn't let my children sleep with anyone other than us and our parents, possibly expanding it out to some close relatives. Even forgetting that he had a lot of accusations against him - he might have been found not guilty but would you risk that the jury was wrong?

And I don't think Jesus was talking about boys who don't grow up!

thesunshinesbrightly - I'm a fan of MJ, mainly his early stuff with his sibs - Jackson Five rock!!! He was a great artist, but he was quite clearly a real weirdo and I would never have let my child go and play with him in his "never, never land". I do think he was a sex offender and it cost him a lot to avoid the consequences.

well i suggest you go and ask the familys about their bullshit then, it was proved he never touched anyone of those brats and he was not a weirdo he was misunderstood.I could clearly argue but you lot amongest all the other's dont like to admit you are wrong about him, which you are.

I would love to be wrong about him. I don't think he was your textbook predater paedophile, but I do think he crossed boundaries with boys who were too young to understand. That does make him a sex offender I'm afraid.

Why did he pay out so much money to quiet the families of the boys involved, so much that it broke him financially! (Despite owning the rights to all Beatles songs)

Just about to post that he paid them off but I see others said it first. If I had been truly innocent then I'd go through with a court case to prove it

I know it didn't exactly make the headlines, but Michael Jackson died last year I don't think anyone has anything to be concerned about any longer.

I don't know what the truth is - only Michael and the children do - yes he was found not guilty but it doesn't matter who it was - and I mean anyone not just Michael - I would not like to risk the jury being wrong.

Michael Jackson's people advised him to pay the first lad off, Michael didnt want to but he was told it was the best thing to do, so he could put it all behind him, the second lad it was proved he and his family are lier's they also tried to get money off another famous man and Chris Tucker, look up the facts for yourslef about the trial and also interview's with the lad and his family the stories changed a number of time's, it is clear to see they are liers Michael was a good man and people took advantage of him.
