Message after message full of typos where you have to stop and try to decipher it.

Plus all this 'tis, twas'. Oh It annoys me.

Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteers be at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a toatl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.

fucking nora BoF- that is amazing

foxinsocks · 01/02/2010 15:52

and hatwoman, sorry you are going through a bad patch x.

MadameOvary · 01/02/2010 17:56

BoF I remember reading that too - fantastic fact

scottishmummy · 01/02/2010 18:02

some folk on mn have perfect spelling and still talk keech. so tbh a few wee mistakes dont bother me

in fact i find it intensely rude that posters reply to a thread (so evidently understood and processed content ) and then bitch about minor spelling

petty

MadameOvary · 01/02/2010 18:05

[Really really wants to translate "keech" for non-Scots MNers]
[Sits on hands]

scottishmummy · 01/02/2010 18:16

Keech is excrement eg it's shite

crankytwanky · 01/02/2010 18:25

Tis and twas are much easier than it was or 'twas when one-fingered breast-feeding typing.

And, I'd like to add, my laptop has no space bar or various other buttons since my DS kept trying to add. As such my words often merge or have a random b after them.

So YABU.

MadameOvary · 01/02/2010 18:27

SM - I know that, I am Scottish. I wanted someone to type "What does that mean" so I could translate

scottishmummy · 01/02/2010 18:37

ah'm jumpin the gun - blethering

and tis and twas are wholly understandable.

is the op having a go at someone?

MadameOvary · 01/02/2010 18:38

I think the OP is having a bit of a bad day.

BendyBob · 03/02/2010 20:40

I don't care about bad typing but tis and twas are twee and annoying.

Goest the whole hog with a thou, thee, ye and prithee forsooth
