Message after message full of typos where you have to stop and try to decipher it.

Plus all this 'tis, twas'. Oh It annoys me.

GetOrfMoiLand · 01/02/2010 14:36

Lol at 'greasy'.

I am happy to be directed by Anna as to the typing refinements which are viewed as normal in the 16eme arrondissement.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 01/02/2010 14:36

Comb hair! Imagine the static damage that will do.

Lay your cheapo plastic combs down now.

OP posts:
hatwoman · 01/02/2010 14:37

last week my hair was, fequently unbrushed, because my arms were too feeble to brush it. like typos it came quite low in my poriorities.

OrmRenewed · 01/02/2010 14:37

Now you see I am much more likely to judge those who cannot express themselves well in speech. Or in a formal context. Writing on a website? No.

GetOrfMoiLand · 01/02/2010 14:38

Yes, to comb your hair in owt else than combs of the purest tortoiseshell is not done.

DrNortherner · 01/02/2010 14:38

If it's an essay or at work than yes, open season to vilify. If's it's just chatting on tinternet then no. Who cares anyway?

I can spell, just am shit at typing.

janeite · 01/02/2010 14:40

YABU. I like the 'tis' and 'twas'ness of MN - it has charm. What I DO object to, though, is the folk who can't be arsed to punctuate or paragraph.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 01/02/2010 14:41

GetOrfMoiLand - once we were mn bezzies - what did I do wrong?

OP posts:
Litchick · 01/02/2010 14:41

Right then, let's be horrid to everyone for who english isn't their first language, who has some sort of disablity and can't type, who didn't get a good education and can't spell etc.
Sheesh.

kinnies · 01/02/2010 14:41

Stops fumming @ Bonsoir and takes a hard look @ self.
Meh..... she may have a point.

CatIsSleepy · 01/02/2010 14:45

am disturbed by the implication that bad typing= poor personal hygiene standards

but not quite as disturbed as I am by the image of TheElephant rogering Bonsoir
who would be perfectly coiffed, naturellement...

bibbitybobbityhat · 01/02/2010 14:45

I don't think anyone should be villified.

La la la la la, hugs, flowers, rainbows and kittens.

When someone txtspks I ignore or hope someone else will ask them nicely not to.

My personal bugbear is posters you don't know from Adam, never heard of them infact, posting 10 paragraphs about a row they've had with their sister, complete with exact quotes of who said what to whom, and then asking aibu?

I always want to reply "sorry, have we met?" but don't dare.

daftpunk · 01/02/2010 14:45

Agree Litchick...

I regret the 3 minutes I wasted posting on here...feel like I've sunk to a new low

Morloth · 01/02/2010 14:46

I just don't bother. If I can't understand it clearly I just click away. Really easy and stress free.

GetOrfMoiLand · 01/02/2010 14:48

DWP - nothing!!!!!!

I know I pissed you off a couple of months back on a thread about fuck knows what, but you thought we were taking the piss out of SN which we weren't at ALL. Think pagwatch was on that thread also.

I have since posted on a couiple of threads saying hope everything is ok and no hard feelings, also posted on thread which was all about your son and the crayons last week saying hope you're ok, sorry about your son, no hard feelings again, but don't think you saw it.

FWIW after the original thread in questions I was very upset as I know we have alwyas got on and I was upset at the thought that you had taken against me for reasons unknown.

really, I have got no problems with you at all, rather the contrary, you have alwasy been someone on MN who I thought was funny and on my wavelength. Would very much like to get back on an even keel.

I am not taking the piss on this thread either - out of you or Anna, just having a larf.

Sorry everyone thread hijack.

PoppityPing · 01/02/2010 14:52

I have an elephant poem....

Once there was an elephant,
Who tried to use the telephant-
No! no! I mean an elephone
Who tried to use the telephone-
(Dear me! I am not certain quite
That even now I've got it right.)

Howe'er it was, he got his trunk
Entangled in the telephunk;
The more he tried to get it free,
The louder buzzed the telephee-
(I fear I'd better drop the song
Of elephop and telephong!)

hth

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 01/02/2010 14:53

Ah thanks Getorf, and phew

Because yes we've had some great laughs on here an I do agree with you (most of the time...)

I must have missed your posts - so sorry.

I'm not one to turn the lights on and kick everyone out (call taxis etc) but I think this thread has run its course, no?

Again must learn to engage brain before posting possibly offensive ops.

OP posts:
GetOrfMoiLand · 01/02/2010 14:55

Oh good DWP - that one has niggled me for ages because i would hate to have pissed one of my MN mates off (don't mind pissing off randomers or ratbags obv).

Back to normal then (and crap tips).

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 01/02/2010 15:18

Phew! heheeee

speaking of crap tips

Ah I did wonder what to do with that bulky argos catalogue!???????

OP posts:
TheDevilWearsPrimark · 01/02/2010 15:19

''Everyone comments on how unusual it looks''

Well yes they would my dear

OP posts:
GetOrfMoiLand · 01/02/2010 15:24

LOL - knew was time to revive crap tips.

elastic band on your curtain rails - classy

Those tips veer from 'no shit sherlock' to 'what the bloody hell is that woman on'?

GetOrfMoiLand · 01/02/2010 15:26

DWP am going to do another thread of crap tips - time it was revived (the other thread has gone bananas as the links are all out of sync)

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 01/02/2010 15:28

To keep carrots fresh for weeks, wrap them up in tin foil and store in the bottom of your fridge in the salad drawer.

Who needs to keep carrots frsch for weeks?

And yes No shit sherlock hehhee

I've just seen more fab ones so am moving to the crap tips thread so I don't keep bumping this awful thread.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 01/02/2010 15:28
