Fantastic!

You is nearly as classy as me.

OP posts:
pagwatch · 05/02/2010 09:26

It is very retro of me isn't it?

Why did people decide fretwork on a car was a good idea?

Hullygully · 05/02/2010 09:26

Have to swoon.

Love all around in the air and shit, innit.

PrincessFiorimonde · 05/02/2010 09:28

Umami · 05/02/2010 09:28

Is that your house on there also Pag?

Umami · 05/02/2010 09:29

MadameDefarge · 05/02/2010 09:29

Umami · 05/02/2010 09:31

Gerroff Pag. God. You are soooooo embarrassing.

Umami · 05/02/2010 09:32

(Confused about Minis and Morrises, cos that shit is all well before her time, know what I'm sayin'?)

pagwatch · 05/02/2010 09:34

I wasn't much into cars.....

Umami · 05/02/2010 09:37

Mater and Pater had a Hillman Imp. It was called Impy.

MadameDefarge · 05/02/2010 10:35

I have very fond memories of a Triumph Herald, and Triumph Spitfire...

Jamieandhismagictorch · 05/02/2010 11:23

Ooh , OOH Hello all..

Umami

we have had 2 Mini Clubmen - a Smurf Blue one (I believe that is the technical term), and a black Mini Clubman Estate (rather like a hearse for dwarves)

We wept as the last one was driven away (sold it to buy a Campervan, though, which is much better for trysting)

Jamieandhismagictorch · 05/02/2010 11:24

Oh, just looked at the picture - that's a new Mini Clubman

Jamieandhismagictorch · 05/02/2010 11:27

marginally less "fash" ....

Umami · 05/02/2010 11:38

Yours is better Jamie!

I would like to know more about Mimi's Triumphs.....

So.......

Look! In the distance! Are they not the crenellations of the Palace that I see? At last, after several days of tedious travel (despite the fact that we travelled from Monaco to Cairo in half the time), we have reached our destination.

Come ladies! come gents! Let us see what Fate has in store for Hully and her delusions dreams!

Jamieandhismagictorch · 05/02/2010 11:42

thankyou Umami

I am a little (pag, you will be interested in this too...) because it now turns out that not only is Charlie chavvy, but it's a "naught boy" name as well, according to the Wise Women on Baby Names

Oh no, blighted from birth ...........

Umami · 05/02/2010 11:55

I really don't see Charlie as a chavvy name. Not in the least. Is your Charlie a Charles shortened to Charlie or Charlie in its own right. And I think he is confident and cheeky, but not necessarily naughty.

(Having just written it so many times it now sounds really weird though...)

Ho! My good man! Please help me down from the carriage and have someone bring in the portmanteaux. And kindly have the Prince informed that his long-lost sister, Lady Hully of Gullington, is arrived and much desirous of meeting him. Her bosom is positively overflowing with sisterly love.

MadameDefarge · 05/02/2010 11:57

Sadly off to my ex-boyfriend's funeral. I look forward to seeing how many ladies of a certain age are there dabbing there eyes with lace hankies, he was a bit of a ladies man, Ahem. But a splendid chap nonetheless.

Hullygully · 05/02/2010 12:44

Oh Mimi, Good wishes.

James, it really isn't a naughty boy name, tell the so-called wise women to fuck off.

We had an ex-ambulance.

Where are princessly accoutrements? I don't see the red carpet or fawning footmen. Where are the cheering crowds?

Jamieandhismagictorch · 05/02/2010 12:50

Thankyou ladies. I have written a funny comment on BN

He is a Charles. I don't really approve of nn-as-real-names < judgy >

Miladies !

Hullygully · 05/02/2010 12:52

HOT NEWS!!!

I've won a copy of good marriage or something book. I shall be passing on tips once it has arrived.

Try and be calm and rein in your impatience.

OP posts:
pagwatch · 05/02/2010 12:53

So sorry Madame. I hope it goes as well as is possible in the circumstances.

Jamie! T'isnt naughty or chavvy! It is charming and cheeky and represents a sweet yet playful disposition. Ignore anyone who says differently.

"hurrah!"

Yet what is this? A small discontent section of the pesants seem to be revolting. Poor Hully - she must protect herself from their rough handling and impertinent jostling.. Where is Abercrombie when we need his manly presence..........

pagwatch · 05/02/2010 12:54

oooh. How exciting!
Good marriage tips! Do tell me some- or I will never get through another 20 years

Is there anything about Period Role Play?
