I've had enough.

Yeah it was nice, but I'm bored now and quite frankly glad its over and BLOODY glad 2010 is over. I want to get on with the new year and Christmas was last year.

(I'm not a scrooge BTW, I love Xmas just found it quite exhausting this year)

Will be taking mine down Sunday hopefully. Bored of them now which is very unusual for me.

nickytwotimes · 01/01/2010 20:59

Ours came down today too.

I loove Christmas, but think it's all a bit depressing if it drags on.

fishie · 01/01/2010 21:00

nope. 12th night it is. dh would have them all year round, or the lights anyway. he has got a strange colour changing led bulb in the bedroom, v irritating.

ChilloHippi · 01/01/2010 21:00

Ours coming down tomorrow.

lizziemun · 01/01/2010 21:01

No

Mine are coming down tomorrow so dh can put them in the loft before he goes back to work on monday.

gingeme · 01/01/2010 21:04

YANBU, mine came down on the 27th.

Stephief · 01/01/2010 23:23

Mine came down today. I would have happily taken them down a week ago tbh!

I spent three hours of my life today hoovering up pine needles. I will never get those hours back. And that was just from the corner the tree was in as it went over the balcony not through the house!

I love christmas, I love fairy lights, I just dont love real trees, they depress me.

ChilloHippi · 02/01/2010 13:09

I can't believe people took them down before New Year. Miserable sods.

YouSaidWHAT · 02/01/2010 14:18

i always think it right to take the decorations down before 1st as then you can start the new year afresh, how can you do that if you still have all the crap from christmas about?!

jeee · 02/01/2010 14:22

On several occasions I have taken down decorations on the night of the 25th. Beat that for Scrooge-like behaviour. In my defence I've done it when we're going away on Boxing Day until after the new year. Nothing worse than coming back home on January 2nd to see pine needles piled up by your dying tree.

muggglewump · 02/01/2010 14:30

Mine usually end up being up till mid January because I am too lazy to take them down
