I live in a council flat, am as cockney as they come, swear like an old docker, and like a good row, just think that I'm a bit of a fish out of water on here sometimes.

mumto2andnomore · 09/12/2009 15:01

Bucharest · 09/12/2009 15:04

Not much room for many more chips on those shoulders today OP.

Did your Tuesday thread get pulled then?

Classy.

teameric · 09/12/2009 15:05

chegirl according to my DS everything is "bear nang" or bear something, or just "sick man", wtf is that all about?

OP posts:
PotPourri · 09/12/2009 15:06

I don't think you are too common. Let's face it, we're all facing many of the same problems in bringing up our children. Just enjoy the solidarity without looking for barriers.

muggglewump · 09/12/2009 15:06

I shop in Asda, drink lager and work as a cleaner.

I'm right common me

QED.

littleomar · 09/12/2009 15:11

There seems to be a misapprehension on here that swearing is somehow common. My grandmother was cousin to a baronet and deemed to be a bad influence on us as a result of her propensity for saying fuck, particularly after a couple of G&Ts. Swearing can be very grand and posh.

teameric · 09/12/2009 15:11

whatever you minger

LizzyLordsALeaping · 09/12/2009 15:11

What on earth is "bear"?

Well, am assuming it's not the fluffy/wild animal thing.

Perhaps I am posher than I thought, or maybe it's because my DC are young and am in Lancashire?

littleomar · 09/12/2009 15:12

i always thought it was bare innit
