none

peonyposy · 09/12/2009 09:04

Forgot to add, there was another one but it clashed, so sad! I don't feel being invited to only 4 is very much at all.

One. And it's on my birthday so I'm going to get trolleyed and make a tit of myself.

peonyposy · 09/12/2009 09:06

Actually there was a 5th but don't think it's happening. Borderslass, here's a glass of mulled wine from me!

borderslass, are you still in the borders? If you're in East London you can come with me on Sunday to my one party.

lolapoppins · 09/12/2009 09:12

I have never ever been invited to a christmas party. Or any other party for that matter. Such a loser.

peonyposy · 09/12/2009 09:13

OOh that's christmas cheer, Sex! Here's a mulled wine for you too

OP posts:
peonyposy · 09/12/2009 09:14

LOla! Glass of mulled wine, here, and this is a mince pie

OP posts:
SexOnFire · 09/12/2009 09:14

you can come too lola, I'm sure my neighbour won't mind

SexOnFire · 09/12/2009 09:15

and thanks for the wine

Hullygully · 09/12/2009 09:17

It's all bollocks, this idea of endless xmas parties is just an excuse for the sunday mags to try and flog frocks. The vast majority of people will have a drink with work and/or mates and a mince pie with a neighbour if it gets really exciting.

BouncingTurtle · 09/12/2009 09:17

None!

Meh! Parties, schmarties. Just a chance for me to attempt to look good but end up looking crap and making awkward small talk.

lolapoppins · 09/12/2009 09:21

Well, thanks to Sex (lol) I can now say that I have had one party invite in my life!

SexOnFire · 09/12/2009 09:30

Indeed you can

Stayingsunnygirl · 09/12/2009 09:31

I have two christmas parties to go to, and I am hosting them both. It seemed like a good idea at the time.....

rumpleteaser · 09/12/2009 09:53

None... I am in Bulgaria. Boo.

2 both work related.

2rebecca · 09/12/2009 09:58

Just thought of a third sport related one. They're all more dinners than dance the night away parties though.

nymphadora · 09/12/2009 09:59

none

LastTrainToNowhere · 09/12/2009 10:01

Well, there's my daughter's preschool party, and the party her best friend is throwing (kind of an xmas/housewarming thing), and the children's party in our local community centre this Saturday. As she's 2 and a bit, I'll be attending all these parties with her. Life doesn't get much more exciting

Oh, wait, you meant parties I am invited to? Well...let's see....erm....that would be none

Big fat zero. But I'm giving one .

GetOrfMoiLand · 09/12/2009 10:11

I have my work party on Friday at Bristol Zoo. I think it will be carnage - all these drunkards milling round pissed pulling faces at the monkeys.

I am driving thank god. Piss ups in a zoo - who thought that would be a good idea?

I actually agree with Hully that the vast majority of people do not go to parties wearing one ahouldered sequinned frocks eating canapes. Most of us just go round to friends and family, drink copious amounts of mulled wine and about 74 cocktail sausages in one sitting.

steamedxmaspudding · 09/12/2009 10:17

Four parties. And a ball! Hooray! I'm even looking forward to my work do - I was made redundant just before Christmas last year so am just grateful to be working again... even if I do have to work Christmas Eve
