and then it's ignored, and either I have to repeat it, or then someone else comes and makes exactly the same point and everyone goes "oh yes, that's quite clever" "what a good and inciteful point" and so on. Maybe I should just type in caps?
So, AIBU?

Oooooh yes, I'm thinking something with Bell and End in it

< creative juices flowing >

Hullygully · 07/12/2009 20:38

TetherDesendsfromMary'swomb

or is that a bit laboured?

Bennite, eh?

Hullygully · 07/12/2009 20:39

And it seems to have lost a C enroute

Jamieandhismagictorch · 07/12/2009 21:36

hully Yeah. I hate Thatcher.

Your name made me think of descending testes.

What about tethersXmasBellEnd ?

tethersend · 07/12/2009 22:51

That's it

Jamieandhismagictorch · 07/12/2009 22:55

Really ?????

Any ideas for me ?

CheerfulYank · 08/12/2009 02:34

No, I'm not a teacher. I'm a paraprofessional. I work with kids who have behavioral issues. ANNNNNND I have a 2 year old. So basically my whole life is changing diapers and distracting people from throwing tantrums. I drink a lot, obviously.

I was trying to think of a name too- CupO'ChristmasCheerfulYank?

Hullygully · 08/12/2009 08:14

Like yours Cheerful.

Mine was better, tether. And Bran agrees.

Jamieandhismagictorch · 08/12/2009 13:04

hully yours may have been better, but mine was ruder - which is all that matters.

Cheerful - what about

YankonmyCheerfulXmasbaubles

See ........rude

Hullygully · 08/12/2009 13:37

Is it? Am too old or too thick - why?

EdgarAleNPie · 08/12/2009 17:51

hollygolly? tinselsend?

waves at pag, glad you enjoyed the chocs, it's what i'd have wanted..

EdgarAleNPie · 08/12/2009 17:52

CheerfulYule?

tell me it can be bedtime now...

Jamieandhismagictorch · 08/12/2009 17:55

hully yank on my "baubles" - O.K, I admit it's more Benny Hill than Eddie Izzard, but rude nonetheless.

GibbonInARibbon · 08/12/2009 18:02

I agree with Bran.

EdgarAleNPie · 08/12/2009 18:29

JesusAndHisMagicStar?

although as someone who continually argues for the secularity of xmas, it would be irksome..

Hullygully · 08/12/2009 20:51

No I mean I don't get tether's...

goddescending testes, how thick do you think I am?

That was RHETORICAL btw

tethersend · 08/12/2009 22:16

Sorry hully, can't bear the thought of anyone descending from anyone else. (DD escaped out the sunroof)

I would advise you against the mildly racist xmas name suggestion though...

C'mon, don't sulk... I've always defended you

tethersend · 08/12/2009 22:17

Sorry Edgar

Hullygully · 09/12/2009 15:49

STILL don't get tether's xmas name...JAMIE! Come overeer and tell.

CheerfulYank · 09/12/2009 15:53

Hello, kiddos! How are we all today?

I don't get it either, hully, but I'm easily confused.

CheerfulYank · 09/12/2009 15:53

And I don't know how to change my name for Christmas anyway.

Hullygully · 09/12/2009 15:54

Hello Cheerful, how lovely to see you. How is Minnesota treating you?

CheerfulYank · 09/12/2009 16:02

It's freezing of course! But I grew up about 5 hours north of where I am now, so to me it's not so bad. It was routinely -50 when I was little, so if it's above zero in December it's pretty tropical as far as I'm concerned!

What's it like where you are? (Wherever that may be?)

Hullygully · 09/12/2009 16:05

Am in south of England. It's raining, it's been raining for six weeks. It's terribly, terribly grim. We were going to go Stateswards for Chrimbo, but couldn't, might go at Easter. We like the States very muchly (except the damn s'moors). We like Denny's cos we are very classy...

CheerfulYank · 09/12/2009 16:10

You just don't get classier than Denny's, that's for sure. Do you follow it up with a trip to Wal-Mart?

I'm hoping to plan a trip to the UK at some point (never been ), so if you get a knock on your door and see a strange woman outside bearing a foil packet, it's me with a proper s'more which you will love because they are delicious. [stalker emoticon]

You should watch the movie "The Sandlot". S'mores come into play very heavily.
