Mine has always been 'my little pirhana fish' by my DF.

WashBasketsAreUs · 01/01/2017 12:14

One of my daughters calls the other one 'Bumeyes!' No idea why

KayTee87 · 01/01/2017 12:18

I call baby 5mo 'Mr Fatterson' or 'Mr Bum Bum' - much more embarrassing than sausage Grin

Flumplet · 01/01/2017 12:22

Oh I miss having a nickname - my gramps only ever called me by either my middle name or both my first and middle names together. My dad used
to call me Willis from that Different Strokes programme of the 80's. Both my dad and gramps have passed away so now I'm just known by boring regular name. Do embrace it as you may miss it when he's gone OP.

Tootles Two: Electric Boogaloo.

NoFucksImAQueen · 01/01/2017 12:34

Just remembered my dad used to call me nostrils. Now that is a bad nickname!
I don't even have a big nose, it's really small so I don't know why he called me it. Remembering it makes me wince but then he is a bit of a cunt and and we don't talk so that's probably why.

pteradactyl · 01/01/2017 12:45

My dd is sausage. Or small bear. Or my little chicken/pickle. Whatever comes to mind first.
My mum used to call me short legs (cos im the youngest, not cos my legs are short....although they are actually so....) or small. Or nuisance (affectionately, apparently 😒)

ClaudiaNaughton · 01/01/2017 12:47

Superfly its Skinnymalinkie longlegs

Euripidesralph · 01/01/2017 13:12

Mine was somewhat odd "real name"a brown of china town(it rhymed lol no idea in he'll where it came from ) and my poor dsis got poppy wopsy the poor sod

More often as we moved into the teens we shared "oh god what did she do this time? " said so often it was most definitely a nicknAmerican

Ds1 was shortround as he's named after Indiana Jones (yes I know) and shortround is a nickname in that but I stopped it because I was worried he would get a complex ( pfb lol) he is now my pickle and ds2 is pixie ....all hell is lethe loose of I mix those up !

SukeyTakeItOffAgain · 01/01/2017 13:33

My dad used to call me sausage, flower, love... He doesn't call me anything now Sad

Make the most of it. It's nice.

TheCatsMother99 · 01/01/2017 13:38

I like it, it's clearly said with love

Musicinthe00ssucks · 01/01/2017 13:41

My dad still calls me "pie" and I'm 37. I love it; it makes me feels safe and young and loved.

Evilrhooo · 01/01/2017 13:43

Without wishing to be grim. One day your Dad won't be here anymore and you will long to be called "sausage".

SukeyTakeItOffAgain · 01/01/2017 13:46

2009!!! Where the hell did this come from? Shock

dementedma · 01/01/2017 15:24

My dad has dementia. He can't even call me by my name.

I feel your pain OP but YABU.

SukeyTakeItOffAgain · 01/01/2017 15:44

Same here dementedma. It's tough isn't it?

haveacupoftea · 01/01/2017 17:43

YABU. That kind of affection can never be replaced.

MrsFionaCharming · 01/01/2017 18:26

DP calls me Sausage. And Sausage-kins, sausage-face, little sausage, sausage-dwelling-marmoset, bottom-dwelling-sausage, sausage princess, and the other day, sausage goddess.

HotelRedFace · 01/01/2017 18:29

YABU. My grandad calls me Pickle and I wouldn't change it for the world!
