  1. They have their hearts set on high heels. (not going to happen)
  1. They will both strop at lack of forthcoming high heels.
  1. He has absolutely no idea when it comes to shoes and girly stuff.
  1. I will use this time to drink hot chocolate and mumsnet whilst having a little chuckle to myself every now and then.
  1. He will come back mentally scarred.

TheFoosa · 17/10/2009 12:54

if he is anything like my dp, he would have bought anything that dd wanted, she can twist him around her little finger

hairyclaireyfairy · 17/10/2009 12:55

lol
is he paying to, bonus.

Lulumama · 17/10/2009 12:55

they;ll come back with the high heels, you'll be the monster who has to take them back and you'll get it in the neck, so enjoy the peace and quiet while you can !!

DH does all clothes and shoe shopping for the DCs, he particulalry loves buying DD clothes.he gets cross when i buy stuff as it does not fit with the capusle wardrobe he has created for them both

Morosky · 17/10/2009 12:55

Be careful though little girls are very good at getting their own way with Dads. My dd has come back with some girls aloudesque outfits when shopping with dp.

TheFoosa · 17/10/2009 12:55

they WILL come back with Bratz high heels

what have you done?!

BrigitBigKnickers · 17/10/2009 12:56

Nah- they will bat their eyelids at daddy and get what they want.

Bet they come back with heels!

ImSoNotTelling · 17/10/2009 12:56

They are so coming back with high heels

overmydeadbody · 17/10/2009 12:58

They will have high heels and you will not be able to do a thing about it!

itsmeolord · 17/10/2009 12:58

He took them to a shopping precinct type place this morning and then came home to tell me they both spotted the..... Bratz high heels!

That was when I sent him into the town centre.

He will be pale and clammy by now, can guarantee it.

Marking place so I can find out if they come back with high heels.

Morosky · 17/10/2009 12:59

THere will be a thread tomorrow
"AIBU to return the ridiculous shoes that dp has allowed the girls to buy?"

itsmeolord · 17/10/2009 13:00

lol trillian, I will be updating as soon as they return.

If they are particularly bad I may even do photos on profile.

shoppingmad · 17/10/2009 13:02

I think that is a brilliant thing to do. Please let us know what he comes back with.

itsmeolord · 17/10/2009 13:13

He has sent me a text;

"they want fucking heels! Am not doing this again!"

He is breaking.

LaurieScaryCake · 17/10/2009 13:56

silver or blue ballet pumps from New Look

I'm surprised they want heels, ballet pumps are all the rage

ADragonIs4LifeNotJustHalloween · 17/10/2009 13:56

Just for context, how old are they? Your children, not DP.

ADragonIs4LifeNotJustHalloween · 17/10/2009 13:57

Ignore. Have read title properly now

beaniesinthebucketagain · 17/10/2009 14:06

They will definitely come back with any number of unsuitable things.

I always could get pretty much anything out of my Dad when I chose to

misdee · 17/10/2009 14:12

my dd's can wrap their daddy round their little fingers.

Niecie · 17/10/2009 14:34

Thank the lord I have a 9 yo ds!!

Waiting with baited breath to see if your DP resists.

Can't imagine my DH resisting for long - anything for a quiet life. Luckily he will never be tested in this way.
