He says he didn't know they were cropped tops, they looked like normal tops. DD's shuffled a bit and looked rather shifty when he said this.

I imagine the conversation went something like;

"oooooo no, deffo not cropped dad, in fact, they're quite long dad, in fact mum was looking at some just like these last week dad." (innocent whistling in background)

You are a very brave woman. My husband has no taste. Colours matching mean nothing. I often look at him when he comes home from work and think "what on earth have you on" so would never have asked him to do that. I await the photos. I hope they haven't decided to wear them to come home.
