...and wondering if I can get away with wearing them again tomorrow.

I have hardly any clothes that fit (recently lost 2 stone and cant afford much new) and my 6 year old Levis finally fit. My first day off work (Wed) I wore them - they have no dirty marks or stains on them, and I have worn them every day since without washing them. Am now wondering if I can get away with wearing them tomorrow, before work Monday. Its horrible washing/drying weather at the moment, so surely if they are cleanish I can get away with wearing them?!

I heard on some fashion show yonks ago that you're not supposed to wash jeans that regularly. I wear mine a few times then wash them at 30.

I have a pair of Wrangler jeans that I bought about a year ago and HAVE NOT YET WASHED! wear them maybe 2/3 times a week...
top that!
I was told to bung em in the freezer with bicarb of soda or something but actually couldn't be arsed. They are not skanky yet!
Pants/socks obv daily, bras, once a week max. cardis/ skirts - once a week?
I AM clean and bathe frequently but my clothes do not reek.
Thank you and goodnight

Life's too short to wash clothes that don't need it! I've enough bloody ironing to do as it is. If you can't see the marks from 6 feet away, they're clean

The only things of mine that have ever been attacked by moths were cashmere jumpers, Olivia.

I have very discerning moths I think.

I am so glad I am not the only one doing this. I dont iron either - I have an iron and have used it probably three times this year (have lived here 4 months and not used it yet in this house)

There were three items of clothing I kept when I fell pregnant that I wanted to get back into - a skinny size 12 tight pencil skirt (not yet!) my 32inch Levis and a lovely dress from Dorothy Perkins. Am chuffed its one down

and no tips really - have been a really old fashioned boring dieter of counting fat and calories (not more than 15g fat and 1400 calories a day) and losing 1-2lb a week - and no biscuits/crisps/cake. It takes a while, but after 4 months its become a way of life. Oh, and having your husband leave you with 2 small children helps shift the first 1/2 stone at least

Lol, I put my jeans in the wash last night after seeing this thread. They had also done 4 days . In my defense, they are new and I am in love with them.

This is reminding me of my teenage years and my mum trying to get my brother to put his jeans in the wash. He said he didn't need to as they are "self-cleansing" - ie the new smells cancel out the old ones.... He's now a happily married father of two, who, I assume, washes his jeans occasionally!
