...and wondering if I can get away with wearing them again tomorrow.

I have hardly any clothes that fit (recently lost 2 stone and cant afford much new) and my 6 year old Levis finally fit. My first day off work (Wed) I wore them - they have no dirty marks or stains on them, and I have worn them every day since without washing them. Am now wondering if I can get away with wearing them tomorrow, before work Monday. Its horrible washing/drying weather at the moment, so surely if they are cleanish I can get away with wearing them?!

As long as they are not smelly then you are fine.

I often wear trousers for a couple of days without washing them and would certainly wear the same pair of jeans Sat and Sun.

YANBU. Jeans are meant to be worn fror days and days without washing! I hate freshly washed jeans - all stiff and crisp, and uncomfortable!

TBH most clothes, bar underwear, should eb able to be worn more than once a day, unless you have a very active day and get all sweaty. What a waste of washing powder and electricity otherwise.

i have an unwritten rule that everything is worn once then washed apart for jeans that i will wear twice if i can get away with it but i always stick them back in the wardrobe 4 another day so ppl dnt realise i wore them twice

I can't believe people wash jeans after one wear! Unless obviously stained or smelly they can go at least a week IMVHO. Bad for the environment, bad for the jeans and bad for your free time to be doing that much laundry.

I am always amazed at these threads though, whatever the garment, some people just seem desperate to wash things! I am obviously a terrible slattern.....

Usually a week or so. Depends on whether I've had a post natal pelvic floor/public toilet not big enough for pram incident.

I only have one pair of jeans (and they're from Primark), my shape is still changing post-baby and I have no money to splash out on things I won't wear for long. I wash them about once a week!

i wash mine once every two weeks

I only wash my jeans on the weekend, never sooner unless DD's have chucked yoghurt or something at me, and then I have a spare pair to swap over for the rest of the week.

I used to live with someone who washed everything after one wear. And we had no tumble dryer, the whole house was constantly full of drying clothes, was a total PITA.

Tops I have to change twice a day, but can wear trousers for weeks on end! I wear a pair of jeans for two days before they go in the wash pile usually, however I've been known to wear jeans for a good week solid on occasion

i must admit my washing is probably every so slightly down to ocd i am rather too anal about allot of things actually oh shit did i just admit that!?

well done on the weight loss ! And YANBU to wear your jeans for four days - assuming that (unlike me) you manage not to kneel in a puddle of something unspeakable at least once a day.
