rubyslippers · 01/10/2009 15:12

there could be a million reasons why they haven't returned to the car

i really hope this is a wind up thread

Sullwah · 01/10/2009 15:13

Unfortunately East Germany does not exist anymore.

You would have felt very much at home there.

parkingperson · 01/10/2009 15:14

I don't think there is any doubt that they were over their time.

OP posts:
MamaG · 01/10/2009 15:14

Well thats a bit mean. What did they say?

OrmIrian · 01/10/2009 15:14

But why?

How odd.

parkingperson · 01/10/2009 15:14

They were really pleased on the other end of the phone.

chickchickchickee · 01/10/2009 15:14

Sullwah · 01/10/2009 15:15

Are they going to give you an award and maybe even a medal for services to the State

wannabe10 · 01/10/2009 15:15

trip trap........

greensnail · 01/10/2009 15:15

Why were you looking at it that closely?

I'm glad you weren't passing my car yesterday, i was parked in one of those car parks where you have to type your reg no in - somehow i managed to type in the no for my Dad's car! Would you have reported me too?

parkingperson · 01/10/2009 15:15

Oh come on! They knew they had time to park till 13 45h. It was past that time, they were taking up space for the rest of us.

OP posts:
MitchyInge · 01/10/2009 15:15

how can you possibly have the mental space in your head to go around checking other people's parking tickets and the free time to make the call? wouldn't you find it more interesting to check out the cloud formations instead?

Sullwah · 01/10/2009 15:15

Yes - you are probably right TROLL

And I fell for it

rubyslippers · 01/10/2009 15:16

pleased?!

well of course they were - that's £60 for them

i wonder if it is someone who is running late at the doctors, or has had an emergency

you sound bloody smug

how was this harming you? why the need to so something so mean spirited

OrmIrian · 01/10/2009 15:16

Did you need to park parkingperson?

parkingperson · 01/10/2009 15:17

I had to get myself and my dc out of the car.

OP posts:
clumsymum · 01/10/2009 15:17

hmmmm .

Do you give people their dropped litter back too??

What business was it of yours?

parkingperson · 01/10/2009 15:18

Surely giving people dropped litter back is public spirited? Far too little of it these days.

OP posts:
greensnail · 01/10/2009 15:18

But you must have got out of your car to look - were you parked illegally while you did this?

duchesse · 01/10/2009 15:24

You have clearly missed your vocation.

As a nosey parker.
