"Surely giving people dropped litter back is public spirited? Far too little of it these days. "

Yes it is, I just wondered whether you are brave enough to lay down the law to people in person, or just do it anonymously.

I don't think it's our job to report people who overstay their parking meter/ticket times tho'. Like I said, how was it your business?

OrmIrian · 01/10/2009 15:28

Litter - yes, is foul and personally I'd string litterers up by their toes from lamp posts (well not personally - I'd get someone else to do it ). It makes the world a much nastier place for us all. But parking No. That is just petty.

If I had seen a drunk driver would that not have been a valid reportable offence?

Of course, they would be endangering other people's lives.

Undercovamutha · 01/10/2009 15:58

Definitely a troll.

Tabithacat · 01/10/2009 15:58

I don't think OP is a troll - I think she is my next door neighbour. She's a barmy old bat with nothing better to do too!
