To wonder what the point of embossed baby wipes are?

I mean, seriously, what's the point of embossing something whose main function is going to be wiping up poo?

Really?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinchilla should I amend the wiki entry to say they are good for wiping your arse on, as long as you get the right end?

They are also "crepuscular" animals, which sounds appropriate somehow

TheChilliMooseisyourfriend · 01/09/2009 19:13

GoAwayMrWappy I shall get to work tie-dying vests. What size would you require? YOu can be my tester

TheChilliMooseisyourfriend · 01/09/2009 19:14

Surely they have spelt it wrong, and they should be crApuscular?

Need giant oversized baby size please. Not for any pervy sex games I genuinely have a giant baby

LovelyTinOfSpam · 01/09/2009 20:23

Wappy you're looking for leak free nappies?

I have never had a back squirter, thankfully, they are more leg dribblers...

GoAwayMrWappy · 01/09/2009 20:31

Bit hopeful I know Spam. I haven't got leg dribblers they are always upwards not down. He wears pullups so I wonder if that has anything to do with it?

LovelyTinOfSpam · 01/09/2009 20:32

How old is your baby?

LovelyTinOfSpam · 01/09/2009 20:33

Or maybe what size would be a better question!

TheChilliMooseisyourfriend · 01/09/2009 20:35

What size of baby? Is it really a giant?

LovelyTinOfSpam · 01/09/2009 20:41

Pull-ups seem like they would have much more back squirting potential than a traditional nappy.

GoAwayMrWappy · 01/09/2009 20:49

He is two in ten days not really a baby anymore but I can't help but call him my baby.

He was 10lb 1oz when born and has been off the growth scales in height and weight for a long time but I think he is slowing down, only on 98th centile now .

LovelyTinOfSpam · 01/09/2009 20:53

Maybe switch back to standard nappies? You can pull them tight around the waist then.

Nature nappies are good

GoAwayMrWappy · 01/09/2009 21:08

He hates having his nappy changed so it is easier to run after him with a pull up than pin him down for a normal nappy! Guess I'll just put up with it til Chilli goes into production withthe tie dye

LovelyTinOfSpam · 01/09/2009 21:12

Hmm tricky.

Maybe parcel tape around the top?

GoAwayMrWappy · 01/09/2009 21:18

LOL think that might be only option

LovelyTinOfSpam · 01/09/2009 21:25

Feed him lots of bananas to get things firmed up and less squirty?

GoAwayMrWappy · 01/09/2009 21:27

Or just not feed him at all and stop the poos altogether?

LovelyTinOfSpam · 01/09/2009 22:16

ROFL yes that would work. I see you take the kill or cure approach?

Seriously I am scratching my head, I have no solution for you.

If it's any consolation we have recently put DD in pull ups, and the 2nd brand we tried didn't fit right, so we had a panicked DD pointing at the carpet and wailing after a whole turd just got out and sat there looking at everyone.

Then the next one after cleaning that up, all the pee went straight out and down her leg.

And "poo come out" in the bath yesterday too...

GoAwayMrWappy · 02/09/2009 09:05

Oh blimey haven't had any whole poo escape (except when taking nappy off)!

We use Pampers, for DS1 we used Tesco own brand which were good because they came up quite high (avoiding the top squidgers) but they have changed them since he was in nappies and now they're rubbish.

We have had a few 'poo came out' in bath incidents too .

Do you think we have hijacked this thread a bit maybe we should discuss wipes.

I like Huggies.

LovelyTinOfSpam · 03/09/2009 01:41

I think you need to experiment with other brands wappy.

And yes, a whole turd on the carpet.Sneaked out the side of the nappy and onto the carpet.

I mean you might expect it when potty training, but not when nappied up.

The whole thing was a bit of a shocker. We all stood round and looked at it horrified. With DD pointing, appalled

GoAwayMrWappy · 03/09/2009 10:04

LOL!

Poo is just hideous isn't it! I hope your carpet isn't light coloured, hopefully it's tie dyed like Chilli's vests
