YES

Thunderduck · 18/08/2009 18:03

YANBU.It's annoying and it's poor netiquette. It's the equivalent of shouting.

memoo · 18/08/2009 18:03

YOU ANBU IT DRIVES ME CRAZY TOO, GIVES ME A HEADACHE!

TaxiLady · 18/08/2009 18:04

I find missing apostrophes quite wearing.

CybilLiberty · 18/08/2009 18:04

I LOVE a well placed Capital letter in a pos. I do it ALLLLL the time. I can't be arsed to fart about making stuff bold

puffylovett · 18/08/2009 18:05

totally agree, it's driving me bonkers

IneedacleanerIamalazyslattern · 18/08/2009 18:07

YABU, we cannot win someone complained about over use of bold recently too.
I LOVE the odd well placed capital letter and it's a good way of putting a bit of emphasis on something using a format that doesn't always get the point across clearly.

cocolepew · 18/08/2009 18:07

You used them.

Thunderduck · 18/08/2009 18:07

I fail to see the need for emphasis when posting.

cocolepew · 18/08/2009 18:08

Italics are the best thing ever.

Thunderduck · 18/08/2009 18:09

Yes use italics or bold if you really feel the need to emphasise a phrase.

TheApprentice · 18/08/2009 18:10

What about people who can't spell "too"?! [wink}

TheApprentice · 18/08/2009 18:11

Or people who can't get the emoticons right...

I'll try again.....

CybilLiberty · 18/08/2009 18:12

People don't underline enough IMO

God that took ages

generalunrest · 18/08/2009 18:13

I'm surprised nobody's found a way to go up at the end of their sentences? Like with the Australian accent? Seems to be all the rage these day? Does my head right in...innit

MummyDragon · 18/08/2009 18:52

Leaving off the question mark at the end of a question really ANNOYS me and so do split infinitives

HerHonesty · 18/08/2009 19:03

ok ok points taken guys. written in haste in a fit of annoyance.

HumphreyCobbler · 18/08/2009 19:08

Bold doesn't work for me, I have no idea why.

landrover · 20/08/2009 11:45

ha ha

landrover · 20/08/2009 13:09

it is annoying

RustyBear · 20/08/2009 13:16

MummyDragon - apparently you don't have the same problem with leaving off a full stop?

Cymbeline · 20/08/2009 13:36

Reiterate is COMPLETELY the wrong word, you do know that OP?

GibbonInARibbon · 20/08/2009 13:52

Rusty - you still make me laugh so

gagamama · 20/08/2009 15:22

I have to admit that I DO do this quite a lot to TRY and denote some tone.

ESPECIALLY on here, but I do think it looks slightly less naff than using bold.
