I don't mind whole words in capitals. I get that they are there for emphasis or by mistake. The ones I find odd are the ones with capitalised first Letters of seemingly randomly Chosen Words. It Is very Odd. Someone has deliberately chosen to do that and I don't understand why.

I only use caps by accident, i type on a lptop and it's realy easy to hit. Then i have to delete and re-type, or post it as it is.

so, if there are capitals in any of my posts, probably no-on eis more annoyed abou tit than me.

You're talking about me aren't you? I will make a conserted effort to bold and italic stuff instead just for you

As an aside, I discovered an amazing thing the other day. If you have a load of text typed out in capitals in Word, highlight it, and then press shift and F3, it changes it all to lower case. Do it again and it changes the first letter of each sentence to capitals only. Brilliant.

I think OP should have put STABBED in capitals rather than HIM. Well placed capitals can be acceptable

I have to admit that I DO do this quite a lot to TRY and denote some tone.

ESPECIALLY on here, but I do think it looks slightly less naff than using bold.

Leaving off the question mark at the end of a question really ANNOYS me and so do split infinitives

I'm surprised nobody's found a way to go up at the end of their sentences? Like with the Australian accent? Seems to be all the rage these day? Does my head right in...innit

Yes use italics or bold if you really feel the need to emphasise a phrase.
