Robert Pattinson?!!! I am shocked by own reaction...am normally a reasonable 38 year old. Is this a mid-life crisis situation?

i should start a new thread... men you shouldn't find attractive but you do...

as a teenager i adored kyle mclaghlan (getting a little old nowerdays) and i also found john malcovich attractve, but i hope think that was only because of this saucy role he played, something seductive, can't remember. actually, i always fancy men in seductive and pervy roles, even if they are ugly and old... i also like geeky and uptight men. a couple of days ago, i caught myself pondering how a porn film with sheldon and penny (big bang theory) would look like!

8oreighty · 28/07/2009 14:35

along those lines - anyone watch curb your enthusiasm? I fancy his fat friend Jeff I think his name is...

See I've read the books and I'm in love with Edward Cullen, and I was so disappointed when RP was cast. Admittedly I've not seen the film yet so I'll reserve judgement.

Who mentioned Rupert P-J? Now we're talking. Him and Daniel Craig make me go all weak at the knees (and elsewhere! ).

TheGreatScootini · 28/07/2009 15:15

Did someone say you can BUY a cardboard cut out of Edward Cullen?!For £30 only?!Where is this Dr Who Shop you speak of?!!I MUST have one!

Sandy22 · 28/07/2009 16:46

TheGreatScootini The Who shop is in Blackpool - at the moment they have just Edward but soon they are going to get the rest of the cullens!!!!!!!!!! My daughter really wanted to get one - but can you imagine! - I just wouldn't get anything around the house done and my ds would probably deface him and that would be divorce grounds! And please stop putting the links to Robert shirtless - I just can't get on way any work, sigh ....

busterk · 28/07/2009 17:14

Sandy22 i thought the soundtrack doesn't have let me sign on it?

I posted on here a while back i am obsessed it is so sad!!! i was at sisters house today and we were looking at clips on website while our daughters played.

My DH thinks I am nuts.

busterk · 28/07/2009 17:18

I bought the complete movie companion book that goes with Twilight. It has some lovely pictures in it.

TheGreatScootini · 28/07/2009 17:37

BrieVanDerKamp · 28/07/2009 17:43

YANBU, he's not my cup of tea, but Nicolas Cage does simular things to me

Sandy22 · 28/07/2009 17:43

busterk - I downloaded mine and it has Robert Pattisons 2 songs on and the Bella lullaby remix - it;s sooooooo good. I too have bought my daughter the twilight companion for her birthday - I am just sooooo lucky she loves it!

8oreighty · 28/07/2009 18:22

I used to love Nicholas Cage - Raising Arizona and all that, but now he looks like he wears a hair piece...don't you think?

the shirt half off pic of RP is making my teeth sweat.

Oh No - he looks dreadful - what is going on with the hair!

GetOnYourDancingShoes · 28/07/2009 19:36

Too young for me.

I did buy the Twilight companion book, though...for DS3 who saw the film several times with his girly friends.

8oreighty · 28/07/2009 20:05

he is being quirky...thought it looked quite funny.

I like the bit right at the end when you laughs

raffyandted · 28/07/2009 20:29

I haven't see Twilight, but dying to now because of this tread and also my 17 year old niece said it's really good. I don't think I will be converted to loving RP as much as Jake G though.

And apparently I have some music from it as my ringtone, but I didn't know it was from Twilight. I know it as 'River Runs In You' by the pianist Yiruma, but my neice says it's called Bellas Lullaby in the film, or something...

gallusbesom · 28/07/2009 20:38

when he laughs (doh)

mummy2isla · 28/07/2009 20:42

yeah, even though he appears to be wearing lipstick he is still swoon-worthy!

Ozziegirly · 29/07/2009 01:18

I like Alan Rickman in his circa Robin Hood days too.

He personifies sardonic.

nybom are you thinking of John Malcovich in Dangerous Liaisons? He was pervy in a good way in that.

Ozziegirly · 29/07/2009 01:20

Oh and nybom, I'm with you on actors in pervy roles.

The antithesis of attractive to me is someone like Zac Efron, or the Jonas Brothers. bleugh.
