Rollergirl....don't think this is about anyone in particular...just the aibu section.....learn to take a joke.

Rollergirl1 · 04/07/2009 12:05

Daft Punk: In all honesty think I was just using the thread as an excuse to be belligerent.

daftpunk · 04/07/2009 12:06

are you new?

thumbwitch · 04/07/2009 12:07

now THAT I got, Rollergirl.

Rollergirl1 · 04/07/2009 12:08

Newish.

daftpunk · 04/07/2009 12:11

have you had a bad start?...sorry or questions...i just haven't seen your name before..

daftpunk · 04/07/2009 12:11

sorry for my typos too

Rollergirl1 · 04/07/2009 12:18

Thumbwitch: What, the drunken posting?

DaftPunk: It has been a tad tenuous, yes. But only to be expected. I'm my own worst enemy when I've had a few so probably wholly deserved.

daftpunk · 04/07/2009 12:26

lol rollergirl...if i'd read a post on here saying something like this..

"i cant type anymore i'm crying so much..i'm so broken....it's such hard work being a troll... you just don't understand me...i'm 100% right all the time, an you're 100% wrong....fact!".......i'd think someone was taking about me...

but i'd laugh it off...

enjoy mumsnet rollergirl.

thumbwitch · 04/07/2009 12:27

no Rollergirl, the looking for an excuse to be belligerent! That was pretty clear.

GentlyDoingIt · 04/07/2009 18:16

Just wanted to clarify that I very rarely cross swords with anyone on here (and am still quite new to it all).

However, when I do, I am usually a bit more constructive than "Judgey judge pooey poostripe shitepants" or whatever it was.

I usually just leave it at "poostripe."

RedLentil · 04/07/2009 18:24

Oh, and when I was seven:

'Red Lentil has a very large vocabulary.'

One which lacked the word 'vocabulary' though. My mum wasn't too sure about it either ...

RedLentil · 04/07/2009 18:25

Gah, wrong thread.
Sorry Orm ...

screamingabdab · 05/07/2009 14:13

Hi, been away for the weekend. Glad we're are all friends.

Gently yes, "poostripe" has a simple elegance to it.

Rollergirl1 · 05/07/2009 20:40

Gently: Heh. Had the jesus juice got your tongue too on fri night then?

Screamingabdab: Am i included in the friend remark? tentative

GentlyDoingIt · 05/07/2009 21:11

no, I'm 33 weeks pregnant so have only hormones to blame for my daft attack...

Wallace · 05/07/2009 21:35

Orm - I have a mantra "Just because someone does something differently to the way I do it, doesn't mean they are wrong..."

OrmIrian · 06/07/2009 07:56

Twas all a bit wierd . And most of the weirdery happened when I wasn't even here! But never mind. Let's all hold hands and sing happy songs .

OP posts:
OrmIrian · 06/07/2009 07:57

wallace - I quite agree with you. I sometimes the MN mantra is diametrically opposite though

OP posts:
screamingabdab · 06/07/2009 10:06

Rollergirl yes, of course. I respect anyone with the maturity to apologise . Sorry that sounds a bit patronising, but you know what I mean

GodzillasBumcheek · 06/07/2009 11:41

I thought it was funny...particularly the bit when Rollergirl got in a tiz and i ran away like a big wuss

i kept thinking 'calm down dear, it's only a Mumsnet thread', but i thought that would only serve to wind people up

Not that i'm averse to a bit of a wind up

OrmIrian · 06/07/2009 11:59

I find it quite flattering that my innocent little thread caused such a ruckus! It was meant to be funny. Honest!

OP posts:
screamingabdab · 06/07/2009 14:14

I was enjoying it immensely until it all went a bit tired and emotional.

thumbwitch · 06/07/2009 15:51

oh goody, everyone's friends again.
It was a good thread, Orm - we need more like it to lighten the atmosphere occasionally!
