Just don't worry about it. People don't always have the same point of view, this is life. It's a learning thing, the AIBU threads can show you another perspective that you couldn't see before. You admitted you were wrong so I reckon you can walk away with your dignity intact. It takes a big woman to admit she made a mistake. There's always going to be idiots who only read the OP before piling in and you know you can ignore them. So if I were you, I'd hide the thread and go and get yourself a large G&T.
