P&t parking threads make me sarcastic.

the 'oh haven't things changed threads' make me simultaneously nod in agreement and want to poke the op with a sharp stick

in jokes make me boak - yes i mean you peguin and pirate mentioners.

i no longer give a shite about blw, bfing or potty training.

all i have left are camping and style & beauty.

sigh!

DeepGoat · 13/06/2009 20:30

brimfull · 13/06/2009 20:31

well all I have left is style and beauty

tis desperate

pointydog · 13/06/2009 20:32

Is there any other groups you could join, to break out of the oxymoronic camping/style/beauty stranglehold?

ANy pets?

sunburntats · 13/06/2009 20:33

now you come to mention it....im the same, no interest in any of those anymore.

But then
There are new thread titles..eg aibu, love those.

AND i cant help having a look at what they are all on about.

What other sites do you go on, cos i just peep at fb (cant be doing with it),
ebay every now and again, nothing else really.

DeepGoat · 13/06/2009 20:33

Hide AIBU. It will give you a much happier version of MN.

Ronaldinhio · 13/06/2009 20:33

I've never given a shit about any of the sahm blw genius child stuff.. I do enjoy observing it though.

just be sarcastic and straightforward they need it in some cases

foxinsocks · 13/06/2009 20:34

it's worse when you start predicting the thread titles

(most popular I reckon: what to call lady bits, my washing machine smells, women at the school gate are so bitchy/excluding/cruel, I saw a women parking in M&T parking without children, can I use a disabled loo with my non disabled child etc.)

besides every time I see your name DeepGoat, I think of DeepThroat (is this bad? is this what you intended?)

BoysAreLikeDogs · 13/06/2009 20:35

I pruned my MN yesterday

If only I could get rid of AIBU, what I have left, Style Chat and Camping, is lovely and warm

Dumbledoresgirl · 13/06/2009 20:36

Oh foxy, I have never seen a smelly washing machine thread. Now that sounds quite interesting! I wonder where all those threads are hiding?

pointydog · 13/06/2009 20:37

I have never seen a smelly washing machine thread either.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 13/06/2009 20:38

DG there were loads last year, you couldn't move for smelly washing machines

pointydog · 13/06/2009 20:38

the goo dhousekeeping threads get me down. I wouldn't have lingered over a smelly washing machine

foxinsocks · 13/06/2009 20:39

oh you have not LIVED till you've seen a smelly washing machine thread

I got so good at dispensing advice on those threads, I did it in point form.

(1. Stop using the liquid washing stuff 2. Clean the seals 3. Check the drains aren't blocked - generally it was the liquid washing stuff that was doing it )

Ronaldinhio · 13/06/2009 20:39

I do sometimes feel that we should spend a week answering exactly what we think. complete shoot from the hip mood and stress dependent...see where we are at the end...

Then I remember that "oh ffs stop fucking moaning you irritating fucking bitch" isn't that good an answer

And try to act normal

foxinsocks · 13/06/2009 20:40

I think there was a big glut of smelly washing machines around 2005/6 too. Or my memory might be wrong. Then they seemed to disappear for a bit. Perhaps everyone's advice worked lol.

foxinsocks · 13/06/2009 20:40

do you think we've bored DeepGoat off her own thread?

pointydog · 13/06/2009 20:40

I think people do answer what they think, no? I don't think we should go all out looking for trouble. That would be unbearable.

Ronaldinhio · 13/06/2009 20:44

my point being that I see DGs side. Sometimes I feel the need to say something mean or sarcy or this again??? wtf but try to resist and move to another topic

DeepGoat · 13/06/2009 20:45

lol @ boring me off my own thread.

sister phoned and gave me a brief respite from the dullness

cheers everyone [wipes away small tear]

did i mention i hate needy having i been onmn too long threads?

OP posts:
Dumbledoresgirl · 13/06/2009 20:45

I feel loads better now, thanks! I might not be officially living yet, but you know what? In all my housekeeping failures, I have never had a smelly washing machine! At least I am doing one thing right!
