To want to scream at my friend?

My friend thinks she might be pg. 10 yes 10 times she has rung me today asking what symptoms I had with the boys(none was V V lucky), what happens with MW etc. But she is refusing to do a test as she is too scared.

She has been with her DP for 4 years and they get married on Saturday. So relationship is very stable. The condom split but she didn't get the MAP as she thought that a small rip wouldn't let sperm through

She is worried about drinking on Saturday as she said she remembers my wedding where I was being given alcohol and was giving it all to DH. I found out I was pg the day before so stopped drinking.

AIBU to just scream buy a f**king test the next time she rings?

Tell her to get a test and take it with DP and that until she knows for certain, it might all still be nothing.

Does she live nearby? Is she wanting you to go and be with her to take a test?

Also give her a bit of a break i sounds as though she might be quite excited even if she is driving you round the bend.

When if she rings again tell her that everyone is different and that the only way to know is to do a test and tell her sperm can get through.

I can't believe that tbh.

She lives about 5 minutes away. I might go out, buy a test and then go to her house!!

how big does she thikn sperm are??

they can get through a teeny tiny hole, seeing as how they are microscopically small

when did she have this contraception failure?

if i was her i would do the test as if it is negative, i would be worried about getting my period on my wedding day

FBG, I have told her that sperm are teeny tiny and probably a million or so got through. She was very shocked.

Her period was due last Friday. She hasn't said anything until today about it being late.

She is 23!! I do actually have an ebay cheapie. Do they have use by dates as it will be from last year sometime??

i agree with paranoidmother, insist that she should have a test. I do not understand why she is scared of having a test? It is a non painfull way of having a quick answer and then leave her with the options she has.

I remember when I first realised I might be pregnant with DD1, I was very very exited AND scared but no one would have been stong enough to stop me from having a home test!

Perhaps in the excitement and panic of a possible pregnancy and her forthcoming wedding she's not thinking straight....?

Go over, put the kettle on for a nice calming cuppa and give her the test to take.

She is scared of being pg and telling her DP. But I think he will be very happy. They were planning on trying next year anyway.

I've just text her and told her to buy a test and come round.

What are her symptoms so far? I will try to do a quick MN diagnosis!

I think doing it at yours with a cuppa is a great idea as you will be there to hold her hand or jump with joy!

Feeling sick, tired and she feels fat!! But the feeling sick could be nerves with the wedding. She is on her way!! I am so excited!!

Her period might be late because she is stressing about the wedding.

She needs to do a test so she knows whether or not to drink at her wedding.

Keep us updated OP as to what the test result says - you never know she might be having a teeny celebratory drink before the wedding!

When did they have sex because if she is still in the TWW it won't be positive anyway - unless she gets a FRER and that can test 5 days before period is due.
