and feel that I should keep it a secret (have name changed obviously) for fear of being lynched!!

It is a perfectly legal party that has been totally demonised in the media. I was even worried that I may be able to be traced from my ballot paper but I took the risk and voted for them because all the other parties are the bloody same and none of them have the guts to sort this country out. Suppose I'll never get to heaven now .

If you vote for the BNP then you are a racist, that is undeniable.

wombleprincess · 04/06/2009 21:42

christ on a bike. erm "as a completely normal 30 something mother" i think not.

god i just feel sorry for the kids really, i mean what hope to the poor little blighters have with a mother like that.

wombleprincess · 04/06/2009 21:43

sorry meant "what hope do the poor little blighters have"

Kayteee · 04/06/2009 21:44

You wanted to see how many others had been driven to do so? Well these reactions should give you a rough idea then AA. As you can see, it may well just be you!

"I was even worried that i may be able to be traced form my ballot paper"

How stupid are you?

TROLL!

junglist1 · 04/06/2009 21:46

What do you think black people or muslims would call you? You advocate PHYSICALLY attacking others on the basis of skin colour, which is what the BNP stand for, and then moan at a bit of name calling on the internet. We're not debating because there is no debate. These bastards deny the holocaust for fuck sake.

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 04/06/2009 21:47

Yes LynetteScavo, yet she claims to be better educated than us traced from ballot paper indeed ROFFLE

daftpunk · 04/06/2009 21:49

op;...why do you post and run?

electra · 04/06/2009 21:50

The BNP

no comment....

serin · 04/06/2009 21:50

Sammyk, surprised your school doesn't cover the basics of the political parties, ours does (in citizenship) and tells the kids exactly why not to vote for the BNP, have a word with them.

To the original poster, words fail me.

Lizzylou · 04/06/2009 21:50

You are obviously not comfortable with your decision, otherwise you'd have kept your usual name (if you have one ), if it's such a feasible and correct option to vote BNP, why not defend your stance? Y'know with your considerable intellect n all that?

barnsleybelle · 04/06/2009 21:51

Tis all very very sad in my book, that someone who deems themselves to be a normal 30yr old mum could vote for this shameful party.

Of course you are entitled to vote for whom you choose, just don't understand why you would vote for these.

And, FWIW you havn't actually explained your rationale for your vote. I agree the name calling is wrong, but please, for those of us who are genuinely at a loss to understand your vote.... please explain...

junglist1 · 04/06/2009 21:51

Oh and as well as being educated on paper, I have real world knowledge, about how people feel, and their experiences of racism. In what way are you educated?

AnonymousAnnie · 04/06/2009 21:51

junglist - get back in your box

daftpunk - when faced with such vitriol I really can't be arsed

ingles2 · 04/06/2009 21:52

well this thread has achieved something...
It just made me get up off my fat arse and vote
and it definitely wasn't for the BNP!

barnsleybelle · 04/06/2009 21:53

But AA, not all of us have name called... We want to know why you think they are the best party to lead our country..

At the end of the day, it was you who posted your choice, are we wrong to expect to know why?

Cammelia · 04/06/2009 21:53

AA you are genuinely ignorant in the true meaning of the word.

You need to be educated.

slng · 04/06/2009 21:54

On a technical point though, something I read about years ago that I vaguely remember: I think you can be traced from your ballot paper. There's a list they tick off when you collect the paper and there are corresponding numbers on the list and the ballot paper, or something like that. (I do postal votes these days so haven't been to polling station to nose about for a while.) Ballot papers are kept for can't-remember-how-many years and I think under drastic circumstances parliament can require them to be opened.

As I said it was a while ago that I read this so happy to be corrected if I'm wrong.

Anyway. OP's not for real though, is he/she?

saadia · 04/06/2009 21:54

barnsleybelle you cannot reason with racists, their belief system is based on hatred.

MrsBonJovi · 04/06/2009 21:55

Women voting for the BNP is like turkeys voting for Christmas

Dollius that is such a good quote

junglist1 · 04/06/2009 21:55

Oh OK name calling is wrong but voting for the BNP is just fine. Come to Tottenham where I live and chat your shit there.

daftpunk · 04/06/2009 21:55

but AA...you must have known how this thread would go..if you're going to start a thread like this you should stick around to answer some questions.....like this one...

why the BNP?.. .why not the UKIP?

Lizzylou · 04/06/2009 21:56

OK, I am a 30 something yr old Mom too. So to understand.....

Would you like your preschooler to think that they were better than the other children in their class because of their colour?
Would you let your boy think that raping a woman wasn't actually that bad? Nor was beating the living shit out of a person because of their colour/creed?

And god forbid if you have girls.

And if you are soooo intelligent, what happened in Wiemar Germany? The Nazis only gained power because people were fed up with the depression. Blame culture.

What policies of the BNP attracted your vote?
