It is a perfectly legal party that has been totally demonised in the media. I was even worried that I may be able to be traced from my ballot paper but I took the risk and voted for them because all the other parties are the bloody same and none of them have the guts to sort this country out. Suppose I'll never get to heaven now .

I understand many people might be sick of hearing about the BNP but the option to hide the thread is there and I am really desperately working to get this working - what is on that link from my other thread. I dont want to make a nuisance of myself but equally I wont exactly get anything worthwhile accomplished if I dont let people know its there. Politics isnt the most happening of talk boards!

this is the thing - as I said on the thread I linked to we cant be complacent. People arent voting. People are not understanding who they are voting for. I have the opportunity to improve this somewhat, even a little, but I have got to have the British public contribute.

My son is half Jewish. (Not according to Judaic law, as his mother is as Aryan as the BNP could desire, but by their racist rules.) So no, I am not terribly impressed. I'm not a fan of my son being a stateless person at best, and ashes at worst. Gosh, what a race traitor I am.

The BNP is led by a man who is on video saying he needs to lie to the public in order to get them to vote for him, so he can gain power and implement his true agenda. (Which, in case you didn't know, is what Hitler did. Nick Griffin has expressed admiration for Hitler, unsurprisingly.)

youd be surprised how real the BNP support is athe min - im disgusted that they have gotten an mp for my bloody region in the european elections....so now my region (yorkshire and humber) has a bnp mep. fuck that.

they are getting votes because of the EU opening up and the misconception that foreigner are getting their jobs! even some people i know who i thought were pretty decent people are labouring under this illusion....

my dh said that whenever a labour government is in the far right do well cos all the tories are are a watered down version and i think he may be right - the bnp didnt do so well when we had thatcher in power - she did it for them.
every day at work i hear someone else complain and i can see how the bnp got in because they play on peoples fears.

click on the link I posted above to the other MN thread. Read it, and post your contribution at the end - in a nutshell who you think in your immediate circle of people would be negatively affected in a BNP controlled country. The point is that saying 2/3 or whatever is not as effective as seeing such a long list you know you will not read it. That has more reality to it. So if everyone contributes to my list in the month I have set as my deadline before I publish it on my blog it will be a stark visual snapshot of how many of us would truly suffer. To put it in perspective.

And really, thank you. If I can get the support for this it will be very effective.

YANBU to vote for them - it is your choice to vote for whomeever no matter how utterly distasteful and thankfully we live in a democracy that allows freedom of voting (unlike iran where people are currently being beaten in the streets for voting for the opposition)

However YABU to hide behind an annoymous name. If you voted for them then you should have the guts to acknowledge it instead of acting childishly and hiding behind a name.
