and feel that I should keep it a secret (have name changed obviously) for fear of being lynched!!

It is a perfectly legal party that has been totally demonised in the media. I was even worried that I may be able to be traced from my ballot paper but I took the risk and voted for them because all the other parties are the bloody same and none of them have the guts to sort this country out. Suppose I'll never get to heaven now .

OP posts:
Kayteee · 04/06/2009 19:28

We just voted and dh shouted, very loudly, from his booth "damn...there's no box for the Jedi Party"

jojos4angels · 04/06/2009 19:30

OP is a retard! lalala

bumptwitknocker · 04/06/2009 19:31

I feel YABU, and I'm quite cross. Have you read their full manifesto??? Try the Green Party. They want to ban factory farming.

Peachy · 04/06/2009 19:33

Jojo you are aware of the origins of teh R word and that is not generally used on this board, right?

jojos4angels · 04/06/2009 19:36

Peachy- sorry didnt mean to offend, but have seen it on here a fair few times

OP is a twat lalala
Better?

Peachy · 04/06/2009 19:36

Noonbki suggested vote match on anoher thread tp match your beliefs to the aprty, thankfully it linke dmine to the party I joined yesterday (green), though interestingly it was only 64% or similar with the rest to the party I left yesterday LOL (LibDems, only becuase the person I used to supporet has left and the new one hasnt even bothered to make contact as a certain local support leader is mifed at me for pulling out when i found I was PG)

Anyway- votematch. Intertingly BNP wasn;t on their list. Good people

Peachy · 04/06/2009 19:37

Jojo mch better ta

Poeple do get jumped on if e spot them but we can't read all threads- 'we' being I would guess the stressier members of the SN thread LOL

daftpunk · 04/06/2009 19:37

i still don't understand the "troll" thing ....i had to register my email address.i'm sure it took 24 hours before i could post...would someone bother doing that to start one thread??.....op is probably a regular poster...

jojos4angels · 04/06/2009 19:41

Will bear that in mind peachy and not use it again!!

madlentileater · 04/06/2009 19:43

did anyone read in the observer what one of the BNP had said about David Cameron's son?
Too unpleasant to repeat and not really surprising, but I had not seen that particular variety of hatefulness reported.

shivster1980 · 04/06/2009 19:48

Lost for words...

KingRolo · 04/06/2009 19:50

Fucking Hell.

Although it's heartening to see so much outrage directed at the OP (troll or not). The BNP will never gain any significant power in this country as 99% of the population are actually decent people who care about others.

Unicornvomit · 04/06/2009 19:50

if this is a regular party, i hope that MNHQ outs them, as i don;t think there is any place for racists or people who troll about racism on mumsnet

Unicornvomit · 04/06/2009 19:50

*person, not party.

daftpunk · 04/06/2009 19:53

unicornvomit....MNHQ wouldn't do that...op is allowed to vote for the BNP and is allowed to name-change.....not really sure why this thread was started as she never came back to answer any questions...

BakewellTarts · 04/06/2009 19:57

FGS we are an island that has been invaded soo many times in history. Romans anyone? Had a Moorish legion stationed here IIRC. Coupled with immgration I think anyone living here would struggle to be "pure" British.

Racist, misogynist, backward all things I don't want in my country.

Hoping that this post will make anyone who hasn't yet go out and vote. (if you want to protest there are lots of options. I had 15 choices in the East region OK 14 as 1 was BNP).

Greensleeves · 04/06/2009 19:59

another titbit form the same article

"Lee Barnes, the BNP's senior legal officer and one of Griffin's closest allies, has posted a video on his personal blog of a black suspect being beaten by police officers in the US and describes it as "brilliant". Barnes adds: "The beating of Rodney King still makes me laugh." "

scary stuff.

Unicornvomit · 04/06/2009 20:01

true, daftpunk, but if it is a regular MNer, i don;t want to share thread space with someone who would have my Nigerian neighbours deported and believes the holocaust was a lie

trolling about it is foul

even worse if she did vote for them

StealthPolarBear · 04/06/2009 20:01

Kathy - if that was in response to my post then I did say I thought it unlikely half of BNP supporters would be women. Some will though - probably because their husbands tell them to be.
I'm sure MN wouldn't do it but I'd be very very uncomfortable if they outed the OP

StealthPolarBear · 04/06/2009 20:03

Uv I agree but that's the thing about democracy and secret votes. You have no way of knowing how anyone else voted.
Having read this thread straight before going out to vote I spent the following 5 mins worrying that with BNP in my head I had crossed the wrong box!

SammyK · 04/06/2009 20:06

the fact that they get a vote from anyone scares me

You should have to sit a basic test of what each party stands for before you are allowed to vote IMO. We have just explained basically to DSS aged 12 about political parties, you would think they would cover it in school??

Unicornvomit · 04/06/2009 20:08

i know you are right, DP and SPB.

i just would not hang our and chat with racists in RL. so would rather not do it here too

daftpunk · 04/06/2009 20:08

unicorn...agree trolling about this is too low...if someone votes BNP and admits it in usual name...at least we could have some kind of political debate..and maybe get somewhere...

wotulookinat · 04/06/2009 20:10

Greensleeves, that's not pleasant reading, is it.
My parents were both immigrants, and we are all white.
It's not fair that someone who has family that have been in England a lot longer than mine should have to put up with such evil.

wotulookinat · 04/06/2009 20:10

I should have added, just because they are not white.
