to have voted for the BNP today

and feel that I should keep it a secret (have name changed obviously) for fear of being lynched!!

It is a perfectly legal party that has been totally demonised in the media. I was even worried that I may be able to be traced from my ballot paper but I took the risk and voted for them because all the other parties are the bloody same and none of them have the guts to sort this country out. Suppose I'll never get to heaven now .

OP posts:

When the Nazis came for the communists,
I remained silent;
I was not a communist.
Then they locked up the social democrats,
I remained silent;
I was not a social democrat.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
I did not protest;
I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
I did not speak out;
I was not a Jew.

When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out for me.

Peachy · 04/06/2009 18:44

So if the BNP want Engand full of English would we have to return from Wales? Wold DS4 (Welsh) then be sent back? And would Grandad be also (yes please), or Mum's 50-50 Welsh, should she buy a shed on the Severn bridge

Extrapolate that to any country and it's quite evidently unworkable

blametheparents · 04/06/2009 18:49

What a surprise, the OP seems to have disappeared
chicken shit

scampadoodle · 04/06/2009 18:49

As a Catholic with irish immigrant great-grandparents, a Jewish husband & half-jewish children, I would really love the BNP to canvass me. Then I could tell them to get back where they came from - underneath that particularly slimy stone at the bottom of the cess-pit.

Overmydeadbody · 04/06/2009 18:52

Are all BNP supporters cowards then or is it just this one?

Clockface · 04/06/2009 18:56

Isn't there something to do with funding for the BNP - isn't this the real danger - atht for the Euro elections, if the BNP get over 10% of the vote, they'll get EU funding and will gain much more credibility and 'main stream' status than at present?

My vicar told me that is the real danger, particularly t his election (and fwik they aren't that far off the 10% already, so it wouldn't take a massive groundswell of racist hatred to enable them to get their ugly little feet under the table).

KathyBrown · 04/06/2009 18:59

I do not believe for a minute 50% of BNP supporters are women, it's likely be to a very small %

wombleprincess · 04/06/2009 19:00

i sincerely hope there is a hell, so that all BNP supporters can go to it. wonder where annieanon is... coward.

Clockface · 04/06/2009 19:00

I suggest you (the OP and anyone else with BNP sympathies) has a little read of this

If you can't be bothered, here's a sample for you:

"Garry Aronsson, Griffin's running mate for the European parliament in the North West, posts an avatar on his personal web page featuring a Nazi SS death's head alongside the statement, "Speak English Or Die!" Aronsson proclaims on the site: "Every time you change your way of life to make immigrants more comfortable you betray OUR future!" He lists his hobbies as "devising slow and terrible ways of paying back the Guardian-reading cunts who have betrayed the British people into poverty and slavery. I AM NOT JOKING.""

HecatesTwopenceworth · 04/06/2009 19:04

I'd be screwed because I'd have to go back to france and ireland. Would they give me the choice, or chop me in half?

Of course, dh and the kids would be sent to Kenya. Although let's hope Kenya would take the kids, since they were born here.

Hassled · 04/06/2009 19:06

And here's some more:

"Dave Strickson, a BNP organiser who helps run its eastern region European election campaign, carried on his personal "Thurrock Patriots" blog a recent report of the fatal stabbing of a teenager in east London beneath the words "Another teen stabbed in Coon Town". The site also carried a mock-up racist version of the US dollar entitled "Obama Wog Dollar"."

zanz1bar · 04/06/2009 19:07

WHY, really why, what do you think they are going to 'sort out' the trains running on time?

Lizzylou · 04/06/2009 19:07

Totally agree Pramspotter, they'd want to kick out my Indian (though UK born) BIL who is a Surgeon (and his Mother and Father, also Medics).
What a fine choice you made, Op

Think Dittany may be right about this thread trying to get to Mothers.

Am heartened by the level of disgust shown towards the BNP though, very much so.

Clockface · 04/06/2009 19:08

Aronsson - yes, very British name . Pure blood he must be.

Hassled · 04/06/2009 19:08

I'm on a roll here -

"Martin Page is a BNP treasurer and his wife Kim is a senior fundraiser for the party. Both have been photographed alongside Benny Bullman, the lead singer of Whitelaw, the white supremacist band whose songs include Fetch the Noose, We're Coming for You and For White Pride."

Now justify voting for the wankers.

chocolateismyonlyweakness · 04/06/2009 19:08

I agree with Ditany. This is a wind up, can't be bothered with it.

lljkk · 04/06/2009 19:10

You lot really shouldn't be slating A-A, if you want to know what attracts people to vote BNP you should hear her out. You can't fight against the BNP without understanding why some people do vote for them.

Peachy · 04/06/2009 19:10

See- how can that ever be seen by anyone as OK?

If someone has a big issue with immigrants I suppose one might vote UKIP, or one of the weird and wonderfuls that seeed to be clogging up my ballot paper today without ever bothering to knock to inform me of their existence.

But it's not a limit on immigration to save jobs / culture or any of the understandable- if- not- my- thing beliefs that BNP activists put about: it's nasty, slavery age, KKK style racism.

I have book after book on how the langage used by people like this creates a culture of intolerance (Uni dis on slavery)- so whilst I agree with freedom of speech it is with a very grudging heart when it comes to thee examples of humanity

HelloBeastie · 04/06/2009 19:13

I have never shouted 'troll' in my Mumsnet life, but let's look at the evidence.

  1. OP is a namechanger;
  2. OP posts with inflammatory view on controversial topic;
  3. OP posts once and doesn't come back, and most importantly;
  4. OP's spelling and grammar suggests a passing familiarity with the English language, a rare trait (ironically) in BNP supporters.

But, on the other hand, people are out there voting for them as we speak! So, you might as well treat it as if it is real. Flame away.

Tidey · 04/06/2009 19:14

You can't really hear anyone out who posts and legs it though, can you lljkk?

saadia · 04/06/2009 19:21

let's hope if she is a real MNer that someone with a percentage of brain cells is vaguely involved with bringing up her child/ren.

Unicornvomit · 04/06/2009 19:22

have a read of this that someone else linked to

www.hopenothate.org.uk/the-real-bnp/the-politics-of-the-BNP.php#3

Toffeepopple · 04/06/2009 19:26

Well, all I can say is that I hope there are not many like you.

Anyone reading this who hasn't voted - please get out there now, you have 2.5 hours to negate her vote!

It's proportional and so Greens, Lib Dem, etc, will all get over the threshold so are not wasted votes. You do not have to choose between the Tories and Labour if you see them as Tweedledum and Tweedledee.
