to have voted for the BNP today

and feel that I should keep it a secret (have name changed obviously) for fear of being lynched!!

It is a perfectly legal party that has been totally demonised in the media. I was even worried that I may be able to be traced from my ballot paper but I took the risk and voted for them because all the other parties are the bloody same and none of them have the guts to sort this country out. Suppose I'll never get to heaven now .

OP posts:
AitchTwoOh · 04/06/2009 23:49

like hoochiemomma says... UCM is that you?

Nighbynight · 04/06/2009 23:54

It has sort of depressed me, actually, because of all the vitriol.

messalina puts it nicely, though.

BitOfFun · 04/06/2009 23:55

Remind me of UCM, Aitch?

verylittlecarrot · 04/06/2009 23:57

I am horrified by this but I worry that the OP may be representative of a small number of people who have fallen for the PR of the BNP, and their attempts in recent years to present themselves with a thin veil of respectability. I think many people's grasp of policies and manifestos is near non-existent and they give their allegiance and vote based on catchprases and straplines.

I wonder if the OP really has any clue at all what they truly stand for.

AnonymousAnnie here are some quotes from your party of choice. With my apologies to everyone else, and I hesitate to quote such awful words, but I think their own words do more to expose their heinous nature than any amount of condemnation from us here.

Nick Griffin On Race: "Without the White race nothing matters [other right-wing parties] believe that the answer to the race question is integration and a futile attempt to create "Black Britons", while we affirm that non-Whites have no place here at all and will not rest until every last one has left our land."

Mark Collett On Adolf Hitler: "Hitler will live forever; and maybe I will."

John Tyndall, founder of the BNP: "Mein Kampf is my bible."

This is what you have voted for, OP. Do you feel proud?

Twinklemegan · 05/06/2009 00:02

I think I should revise my post on the other BNP thread.

ilovespagbol · 05/06/2009 00:03

AnonymousAnnie - Don't we all want a better world for our children? Why would you vote BNP? Please explain yourself. You posted, you wanted a reaction. Have some balls, get back on here and help me understand how you can think like you do.

harleyd · 05/06/2009 00:05

i cant believe that any decent, intelligent human being would vote bnp

Twinklemegan · 05/06/2009 00:11

There aren't too many intelligent human beings in this country. That's evidenced every single day. Do any of the party's propose compulsory IQ and history tests before being allowed to vote? I'd vote for them.

Twinklemegan · 05/06/2009 00:12

But not grammar tests obviously, or spot checks for rogue apostrophes.

DitaVonCheese · 05/06/2009 00:13

knockedgymnast they were going round here in a Land Rover the other week as well - I only noticed because I saw a group of blokes all suddenly start frantically giving the finger and turned round to see what they were swearing at

mamadiva · 05/06/2009 00:20

You can vote for whoever you like, although I seriously doubt you did vote as you would'nt have felt the need to attention seek declare it!

I know absolutely bugger all about politics so did'nt vote for fear of voting for the 'wrong' people up to the individual!

Doodle2U · 05/06/2009 00:25

BofF - UCM was a poster who held quite strong views on immigration and voiced them. It wasn't pleasant - car crash Mumsnet.

I think she's stopped posting now but may just have name-changed. If I remember correctly, she was fab with arts and crafts stuff. Dunno why that useless bit of info sticks in my head but there ya go.

mrshippy · 05/06/2009 00:26

No, if you want to this country to be run by a gang of racist, fanatical, irrational criminals.

ilovespagbol · 05/06/2009 00:27

Lets hope this thread has made OP think. If she is capable of processing any thoughts in that pea sized brain. I'm off to bed now to have nightmares of my daughter living under a BNP regime. [shudder] and also

BitOfFun · 05/06/2009 00:28

Thanks, I remember now! A fanjo thread springs to mind

Doodle2U · 05/06/2009 00:28

As someone pointed out further down the thread - the massive amount of posts against the BNP suggests that most folk aren't voting BNP.

Maninadirndl · 05/06/2009 00:48

YANBU. Lets gas the bastards,

living in Germany I only agree.

(being ironic here)

brightongirldownunder · 05/06/2009 02:06

Its not often I'm gobsmacked on here, so thanks OP. DH has commented on my unusual silence for the past half an hour whilst I've been reading this thread.

You have been truly brainwashed, as were those under Hitler's rule - remember that?

Just LOOK at Nick Griffin for god's sake, try and imagine him shaking Barack Obama's hand....enough said.

AliGrylls · 05/06/2009 04:21

YANBU for exercising democratic rights.

However, if you felt about sorting the country out there were plenty of other parties to vote for that don't believe in racism.

I would assume that you don't have many friends of different religions/races because otherwise you would have an inkling as to what the BNP were really about.

BouncingTurtle · 05/06/2009 07:05

AA- Educated more than the rest us?
I very much doubt that - because clearly you have done NOTHING constructive with your education if you could think it is acceptable to vote for a party who would deny other people their freedoms while loudly clamouring for theirs.
I don't normally condone abuse of posters, but your views are frankly so narrowminded and racist - and try as you might to deny you ARE rascist frankly you deserve what you get.

sunnydelight · 05/06/2009 08:04

And obviously thick as!

Wow still feeding the troll! Was looking at this last nigh can not believe it is still going on, everyone has done the whole name calling thing (with the exception on a few really interesting points being made) It is so clearly a wind up, If and its a very big IF the bnp did get in anywhere it would be for one term as once they work out they can not deport people left right and center and would be done for human rights at every turn (we have come a long way since Hitler) they would shoot up their own arse's .

I think a lot of people are fed up with things in this country and voting BNP is an out let for that.
TBH I would rather someone vote for the wrong party then no party at all, epically women, as other women died so women could vote and it makes me really cross when people say oh I did not know who to vote for or I was busy or I could not be bothered.

OP as I am sure you are watching the bun fight, your vote your choice. Go play with your trains now and leave the grown up alone.

Nezzi · 05/06/2009 08:54

I haven't read the thread yet so I'm sure I'm repeating but...

If you're going to vote for a bunch of biggots then at least have the courage to admit that you are one too; why the name change?
I like to know my enemy...
Maybe you're a troll?
Have you told anybody in RL or are you as pathetic as the party that you voted for?

bleh · 05/06/2009 09:33

Sadly, there are people in the UK who have voted BNP. There has now been so much crap in the media about foreigners stealing jobs and what not (despite the government freaking out about a potential brain drain due to educated people returning to their homeland). One of my mother's colleagues was talking about voting BNP, obviously forgetting that she was talking to an immigrant (muppet).
