Genuine observation here, not trying to stir anything. It just seems a lot less cliquey and bum-licky. My replies are recognised and appreciated. I hope newbies feel welcomed and that there isn't some barrier that you have to cross in order to become 'popular'.

Well?

No they can only lie down or sit down with their legs together at an angle of 90 degrees

I think they would be a bit crap, to be honest

screamingabdab · 22/05/2009 13:40

BitOfFun · 22/05/2009 13:41

< panics now what's on the google dropdown on the work computer >

Ledodgy · 22/05/2009 13:43

ROFL (but not with lego)

AitchTwoOh · 22/05/2009 13:44

going over to the bereaved mums to start a ruck? link please, because if you're referring to the time i went over to say that i thought a poster there had been very unfairly dealt with by MNHQ and was treated like absolute shit, then you're quite wrong.

do you know what, i've seen a lot of mn threads and i've only ever seen someone (cod) say 'we've had this before' once. did it really happen a lot or did it just happen the one time to the people who are still moaning about it?

BitOfFun · 22/05/2009 13:45

You need another toke Aitch < dumbs down >

AitchTwoOh · 22/05/2009 13:46

rofl at lego orgy. they're speedy little buggers, ain't they?

Mintyy · 22/05/2009 13:48

Aitch, I'd be very grateful, if you do hear from Threadworm, if you could say that I for one am very sorry to see her go. Ditto Onebat. I don't recognise her these days. They won't necessarily know me, but I always found myself nodding along in agreement with the two of them and I shall miss them.

LupusinaLlamasuit · 22/05/2009 13:50

They are both here. And there.

AitchTwoOh · 22/05/2009 13:50

will do, mintyy.

LupusinaLlamasuit · 22/05/2009 13:51

As in 'round and about', NOT as in here and the Other Place.

BitOfFun · 22/05/2009 13:54

Phew Lupus, you nearly kicked the whole thing off again

scottishmummy · 22/05/2009 13:55

Itch unsuprisingly i dont have an extensive back catalogue of MN links to illustrate every post every time. Do you?

the poster specifically went to bereaved mums thread took the piss and scarpered.i imagine in all likliehood it got deleted

Lizzylou · 22/05/2009 13:55

Aitch, the whole "we've done this before" and "search the archives!" was fairly commonplace for a long while, I am sure.

That said, now my boys are older and I've been on here longer I often have to stop myself posting the same thing

scottishmummy · 22/05/2009 13:57

yes it was, that and other put down quips

AitchTwoOh · 22/05/2009 13:58

i don't believe you, sm.

i'm going to do a search for search the archives... i just can't think that on a site with 10,000 posts per day it happened very often.

AitchTwoOh · 22/05/2009 13:59

ffs YOU talking about putting people down, sm. it's your MO.

hatwoman · 22/05/2009 14:00

at Orm querying the use of "intello". it's rather oxymoronic isn;t it? (wonders whether oxymoronic is a made up word. sounds like it)

morningpaper · 22/05/2009 14:00

I don't believe you either sm

I think you are reconstructing the past

It also begs the question that if MN was such a hotbed of bitchiness and evil bullying, why on earth did you stay??!?!

Molesworth · 22/05/2009 14:00

"Been there done that" used to get posted a lot, it's true.

No they can only lie down or sit down with their legs together at an angle of 90 degrees

MP, you haven't played much with modern lego have you?

Anyway, got to get on. None of my posts seem to get acknowledged and I am commiting the MN crime of not bothering to follow the argument.
