to be actually panicked that some man out there thinks raping women is like force feeding them chocolate cake?

I did put this on the BNP thread, but thought it needed a thread of it's own. Particularly on a site made for women.

I got a leaflet through the door which was against BNP, and it said on it that some BNP leader guy in London had said that women enjoy sex so rape cannot be anything bad, so raping a woman is like force feeding her chocolate cake.

Does it terrify anyone else that if these ever got in power they could be rascist and awful but also put women back to posessions rather than people?

It really un nerved me.

YANBU, I panicked when I got hand-delivered BNP stuff through my door in London, and none of my neighbours did! Being a forriner, married to a black man, I thought we were being targeted and was terrified.

pinkstarfish · 14/05/2009 20:05

They will rot in hell, that, I'm certain about

mummybroccoli · 14/05/2009 20:14

No doubt they will rot in hell.

I say we should pin him down and get the toys out girls and rape him up the without any lube cause men love sex more than women, they do after all think about it more often (if we are being honest). And then to finish ram some chocolate cake down his throat!

Cheeky scumbag!

Pizazz · 14/05/2009 20:18

but PMSL at mummybroccoli

KingCanuteIAm · 14/05/2009 20:24

So you don't think the rival party or BNP objectors will have tried to make what he actually said sound any worse or twisted it then?

Don't get me wrong, I do not like the BNP on principle, however I do think taking things like this leaflet at face value is a bit silly!

WinkyWinkola · 14/05/2009 20:25

Erm, it might be silly take this leaflet at face value but I think many people will do exactly that and vote BNP.

That is the problem.

They are truly dreadful - anyone who isn't a white man is just untermenschen as far as theya re concerned. The National Front in suits. Yuk.

Lulumama · 14/05/2009 20:29

i think the leaflet, and i got one today, is acutally a pale imitation of what they really think and believe and their hatred runs far far deeper than they would have us believe

KingCanuteIAm · 14/05/2009 20:31

Excuse me? Do not attack me because you hate the BNP so much!

Please re-read what I said without all the spit and anger. Where the HELL did you get all the crap about niggers, jews and pakis from in my post? Nice choice of words BTW.

My point was about the Op being "Panicked" because of this particular story.

Ready4anotherCoffee · 14/05/2009 20:34

I'll join you mummybroccoli was thinking the same, but you were so mucjh more eloquent

WinkyWinkola · 14/05/2009 20:35

Who is attacking you, King? It was a question.

That leaflet merely indicates the surface of their hatred. It's hardly silly to be worried about their propaganda being circulated by the postmen!

WinkyWinkola · 14/05/2009 20:36

And "nice choice of words" because those are the very words the racist BNP would use.

Heated · 14/05/2009 20:39

I'm sad I've never had the chance to be rude to anyone standing for the BNP, do they actually canvass door-to-door?

Never saw any either when we lived in multi-cultural London (probably akin to suicide in my neck of the woods) whilst where we are now in the leafy countryside I suspect the voting patterns are the same as in the day of the Whigs and the Tories.

mummybroccoli · 14/05/2009 20:39

Yes I dont think I could have put it any better, not on here anyway, lol!!

You are right WW, it is exactly how they would put it if they thought for one moment they could get away with it without any repocussion.

KingCanuteIAm · 14/05/2009 20:40

"And you don't think the BNP aren't a bunch of nigger hating thugs? And Jew hating? And Paki hating? They don't need any words twisting because that is what they are.

Don't ever be so very silly as to doubt that."

Sorry, this appears to have been aimed at me.

My post said "I do not like the BNP on principle"

So how on earth did you get your post from mine? Why on earth did I deserve such an accusitory "question"?

I am not (as I indicated already) one of the idiots who is going to fall for the BNP publicity, save your vitriol for someone who is.

morningpaper · 14/05/2009 20:41

This WAS a BNP candidate although he was thrown out after he made the statement here

KingCanuteIAm · 14/05/2009 20:42

"nice choice of words" Oh so the people you hate use them so you can??? Are you any better than them? You have better language so why not use it?

Lizzylou · 14/05/2009 20:46

but I suppose not really that shocked.
I saw someone being interviewed in the street about the MP's expense claims furore and when asked who he'd vote for (his MP had been exposed) he said "The BNP". Scared the shit out of me.

We have also recently had an English Democrats Party leaflet through the door, leaflet is mainly moaning about supporting Wales and Scotland whilst they get free prescriptions etc, it also mentions curtailing immigration and asylum seekers. It is very calmly worded, a wolf in sheeps clothing methinks?

BelfastBloke · 14/05/2009 20:47

KingCanute, calm down! WinkyWinkola was not directing anything like that at you specifically.

S/he was only giving examples of what the BNP would say.

And using those words does bring into mind the ugliness of what is going on.

mummybroccoli · 14/05/2009 20:48

It is soooo scary that someone who has those views on life has such an influential role in society, whether people take it seriously or not, there are children growing up reading about this crap, they may take it at face value?

BelfastBloke · 14/05/2009 20:50

KingCanute, you made a good point at the beginning

WinkyWinkola made a good point in response.

Then you took offense over a rhetorical device. You're both on the same side, I assume.

duchesse · 14/05/2009 20:51

The worst thing is that the BNP is raising funds to field a candidate in every UK European seat in the forthcoming European elections. With turnout usually very low at these elections, there's a serious chance a fair few of them could get in, and we could end up looking and behaving like a bunch of fascists to whole of the EU.

VOTE VOTE VOTE! It's the only solution.
