To not want to lend my spade ever again to this woman?

Divvy · 15/04/2009 08:52

I lent my spade to a friend yesterday. I thought she was just going to "do a bit of digging" with it!

Well it now turns out that she was going to a commit brutal killing with it instead!

You should see the state of her pampas plant now! She was brutal!

So AIBU to never want to lend her my spade again? Well am I?

Depends on what she's planing to kill

Divvy · 15/04/2009 09:01

Well, she was eyeing up a plant in my front garden as she left!

pmsl

maybe she's giving up the swinging - isn't that what pampas grass is the secret code for

Divvy · 15/04/2009 09:04

Isnt that something that gardeners do?

MrsMcCluskey · 15/04/2009 09:05

She's opting out of the swinging scene!
Pampas grass is fugly anyway.

FAQinglovely · 15/04/2009 09:10

yes you -

now I'm going to get on with my housework in a strop - including cleaning a spade I borrowed off a friend before I return it at some point this week

Divvy · 15/04/2009 11:10

I always find if I do it in a strop its gets done quicker!

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 15/04/2009 11:21

But more things get smashed when you put them away stroppily.

FAQinglovely · 15/04/2009 11:22

this is true

Divvy · 15/04/2009 11:37

Only if you get in her way...like the poor pampus plant. RIP

OP posts:
Alambil · 15/04/2009 12:53

she's been going at it for days - clearly a pre-meditated situation ....

Are you going to be safe when you approach her for the spade back?

valleysprincess · 15/04/2009 13:19

Pampas grass is minging. You did the world a favour

Divvy · 15/04/2009 14:36

Thinking about letting her keep it now, its a murder weapon after all!

OP posts:
FAQinglovely · 15/04/2009 15:05

MrsMcCluskey · 15/04/2009 17:17

flightoftheeasterbunyip · 15/04/2009 17:49

Is she maybe trying to dig up the pampas? And failing? So she just hit it instead?

Divvy · 15/04/2009 17:56
