RANT ALERT: Am I BU to want to shove Dogsh*t down the throats of

KimiAteTooManyEasterEggs · 13/04/2009 19:07

Useless, selfish, lazy, wanker's who think letting their filthy bloody dogs sh*t where ever they like and NOT clean it up is ok.

(Actually I would like to wish them a slow and painful death and their little dogs too.)Ok maybe thats unreasonable BUT>>>>

I have just had the fun of cleaning dogsh*t off of the wheels of my mothers wheel chair before putting it in the car. This wheel chair has to go in to my mothers house as she is dependent on it so had to be cleaned throughly and all poop removed from the grooves in the tyres.

While doing so someone else pulls up and lets dogs out of the car that proceed to make a massive pile of sht 4 feet from where I am scrubbing sht off of the wheelchair, and he leaves it there too

Wonder how he will like finding dogsh*t under all his car door handles

Thank goodness we had rubber gloves, a brush and cleaning spray in the boot, but if people are too poor to buy some sodding nappy bags or too bone idle to not scoop the poop maybe they are not fit to have a dog in the first place,

I shall now go and eat chocolate till I feel less like killing people...........

Rant over

no you are not BU, I always clean up after my dog and i am sick to bloody death of scraping dog shit out of the wheels of my pushchair. it's a piss take, they shouldn't be allowed dogs. i'm scared to let my ds out of his buggy to walk in case he treads in some. it's disgusting, lazy, slovenly scummy behaviour. nappy bags, 28p for one hundred at sainsbo's, no excuse.

Niftyblue · 13/04/2009 19:11

I hate it
Its disgusting

Not all dog owners are the same my SIL cleans up after her dog when she taking it out

But those that don`t I agree I want to smear it all over their carpet

I too am sick of scraping dog shit of the kids shoes.

We have some lovely communal gardens outside our flat which are maintained by the residents around and are extensively used by everyone in the summer (we have no other outdoor space.)

It makes me furious to see dog owners using it as a dog toilet early in the morning before they go off to work.

Although most clean up after their mutt, there are a few who clearly don't give a shit about anybody else.

LauriefairycakeeatsCupid · 13/04/2009 19:16

I hate the fact that people do this particularly as I am a responsible dog owner

smallorange · 13/04/2009 19:16

My mother always cleans up after hers - in fact she once enjoyed a romantic evening stroll on a beach in Wales with a bag of dog shit in one hand.

Chocolate is helping me be calm.....

I used to clean up after DH1s dods (although apart from me and him none of his family did )

I wonder if blokey liked dog sht all over his door handles, I know it was not his dogs sht I wheeled through but he is another useless toss pot who did not clean it up so I felt justified

YA soooo NBU.
We live right outside a lovely old cemetary with graves going back 250 years. Right up to new plots. People go in to lay flowers etc all the time.

Dog owners also go in all the time.

Big dogs little dogs, all kinds of dogs.

The dog owners think the cemetary is the dogs toilet. Very few of them scoop their mutts poop.

We walk the ds's through the cemetary to get to the park, the number of times we've seen people visiting graves, who are trying to get dog shit off their shoes before getting back in their cars. The number of times we have had to leave our shoes on the front doorstep when we get home cos we've stepped in it - on the paths, in the grass, these dog owners have no respect and no scoops.

We just had a loft conversion done and I'm tempted to buy an air rifle to shoot the revolting mutts arses in mid poop.

KimiAteTooManyEasterEggs · 13/04/2009 19:31

I will happily pay for the pellets

OP posts:
LauriefairycakeeatsCupid · 13/04/2009 19:34

erm....no, that would be wrong. Not the dogs fault it's married to a shit owner who can't carry a plastic bag.

I'd pass you the pellets for the owners, not the puppy-wuppies

AnnieLobePassoverSeder · 13/04/2009 19:35

Did you seriously put dog poo under his door handles? That's a bit OTT. I agree that people who don't clear up after their dogs are wankers, but shouldn't you take the moral high ground? He probably won't even realise why it's there and just think it's kids being stupid.

Not a good response, IMO.

I'd probably have yelled at him that I'd just finished cleaning the wheelchair and would he bloody well pick up his crap before the wheels got caked in it again. I'm a bit shouty in situations like that .

But smearing dog shit on someone's door handles - just wrong.

KimiAteTooManyEasterEggs · 13/04/2009 19:39

I am pleading the 5th

ScummyMummy · 13/04/2009 19:41

You are so not being unreasonable. Poor you having to spend time cleaning other psople's dogs' crap. I have total sympathy- there are pratweevils who live near us who actively encourage their dogs to defecate in the children's football cage. It's disgusting. I want to kill them too- especially when my son came home covered in shit after doing a sliding tackle.

Flibbertyjibbet · 13/04/2009 19:46

I have noticed that the bigger the dog, the bigger the poop, the less likely the owners are to scoop. So its not a teeny bit that we step in, its a whole bloody shoe sole plastered in it.

Ok owners first shot, dogs arse 2nd offence.

ScummyMummy · 13/04/2009 20:00

Didn't see the dog shit on door handles thing- yuck.

mychildrenarebarmy · 13/04/2009 21:06

Did you really do that with his dogs poo? Not sure I would have gone quite that far but may have been tempted to stick it on his bonnet with a note saying you seem to have lost something earlier, please clean up after your dog in future.

katiestar · 13/04/2009 21:10

YANBU
It is disgusting and selfish

HerBeatitudeLittleBella · 13/04/2009 21:11

Is there anyone in the world who is not bothered by this?

And yet it is way down the list of priorities for local councils. I wonder why that is?

fledtoscotland · 13/04/2009 21:31

YANBU in wanting dog owners to pick up after their dogs. I always pick up after my two. i get totally fed up by dog shite in the pram wheels and even more fed up with the spotty teenagers that set fire to dog-poo bins so that i have the priviledge of carrying the poo-filled bags for miles

however am a bit at the wish for a slow and painful death to the dog. they havent done anything wrong. its the owners who are to blame (and the council for not enforcing the law and fining people)

MrsPurple · 13/04/2009 21:33

yanbu
I'm sick to death of cleaning pram wheels. and now DD's are older, the dollies pram wheels.

If I see someone no poop scooping I stare at them, and due to my DDs being conmsiderate they do say 'Mummy it's very naughty not to clean up after your doggy poohsa isn't it?'

I don't tell them to say that, but that is the reason I have given for not having a dog (as I haven't the time to walk and poop scoop, so it would not be responsible to have a dog until I can do that)

Not dogs fault as they need to go somewhere, it's the owners.

chegirl · 13/04/2009 22:12

YANBU

fledtoscotland our borough has just 'reclassified' dog do. You can now put it in litter bins (in a bag of course). Maybe they will get round to doing that in your area.

I hate this dog poo thing. Its horrible if you are a dog owner because you feel like you have to prove its not your dog. When I take my dog out I hold bags in my hand so people know I am not one of 'them'

I live in east london. We are lucky that our houses are built round a green. Its really nice but of course dog owners who live outside the green think 'whoppee handy dog toilet, dont have to let the dog crap in my garden'. Its not like there are loads of places for kids to play in inner London. Makes me sick.

Mummy2LZ · 13/04/2009 22:19

Definately not unreasonable!
I am a Vet Nurse with two big dogs and two small children and I pick up crap all the time!!

No excuse for lazy bloody dog owners who give the rest of us a bad name.

Dogs crap its what they do it's up to the owners to clean up after them.

It REALLY PISSES me off too.

I hope Mr Lazy Bastard who left his dogs crap in front of you had some wipes in his car!! lol

junglist1 · 13/04/2009 22:21

YANBU
The worst thing is when it's right in the peeing middle of the path, like they left it there on purpose. Around my way, someone covers over the real road names with "squirty dirt passage" and "dog crap crescent" etc. As a dog owner I also carry the bag where people can see it, I feel guilty otherwise!!

Flibbertyjibbet · 13/04/2009 22:32

A neighbours dog used to pee on my doorstep everyday when let out (terrace house so no gate or anything just step and pavement).

DP said he was going to wire up the step with several thousand volts of electricity which would travel up the line of wee as soon as it hit the step

We moved instead.
