I lurk far more than I post, gnerally because somebody has usually said what I wanted to, so I don't want to just echo it. I have noticed though, that even after a string of helpful replies saying much the same thing, it only takes one "celebrity" MNer to join a thread and parrot the previous posts, albeit in their own style, and then you get a rash of "Oh, good point, CelebrityMNer, fantastic post!" replies. It pisses me off just reading it, so I can only imagine how irritating it must be for the posters who had said much the same thing hours ago.

Does anyone else notice this, or AIBU?

slackjawedyokel · 29/03/2009 17:51

This is even better! < twirls >

Right, I am off to pay homage to some random MNers to see how the other half live

Gunnerbean · 29/03/2009 18:02

Having just read this thread, I've concluded that I must be the absolute antithesis of a "celebrity MNetter" - and quite happy to be too

slackjawedyokel · 29/03/2009 18:05

Unfortunate for you then that I have nabbed this rather glorious name

coppertop · 29/03/2009 18:05

What an excellent post, Gunnerbean. I agree with everything you've ever posted.

noddyholder · 29/03/2009 18:11

Its the wedged bit I don't like the sound of

slackjawedyokel · 29/03/2009 18:15

Threadworm clenched her buttocks on my tongue- that was painful, I can tell you...

NotPlayingAnyMore · 29/03/2009 18:21

You make a good point MoanyLisa, as it's just one example showing how many people don't read a whole thread (as I'm currently demonstrating for you)

KimiWantsAnEasterEgg · 29/03/2009 18:42

Am I on a list yet?

slackjawedyokel · 29/03/2009 18:47

You can be on mine then

It probably doesn't have much kudos though, tbh!

KimiWantsAnEasterEgg · 29/03/2009 18:49

Thank you, was just admiring your name on another thread

What more reason could I want then? I do love a bit of shameless flattery! Having said that, marthasmummy gave me the idea, so perhaps I should invite her into my clique? Hehehe

Marthasmama · 29/03/2009 18:53

Oooo yes please [desperate to be loved emoticon].

slackjawedyokel · 29/03/2009 19:01

dragonbutter, how lovely to see you on a bumsex thread

Mmm, is that lemon drizzle cake perchance?

KimiWantsAnEasterEgg · 29/03/2009 19:03

Sorry no my cake is chocolate

ahfeckit · 29/03/2009 19:04

I'm definately not a celebrity MNetter then..no one ever agrees with my point of view.
YANBU. I've actually seen it on a lot of posts (without naming posters).

slackjawedyokel · 29/03/2009 19:05

How appropriate for a bumlicking theme- that will do nicely...

KimiWantsAnEasterEgg · 29/03/2009 19:09

Ladies please feel free to join me on my tea and cake thread in OS to get away from all the bumsex

noddyholder · 29/03/2009 19:11

Don't mix cake and bums please

Tortington · 29/03/2009 19:16

there will be crumbs
