I don't want to sound smug, but I suffer (if you can call it that) from a condition highlighted in the news lately which means that giving birth is unusually pleasurable for me.

I was wondering though if anyone else on this great site can understand this - or AIBU to feel just a little bit special?

My last birth left me panting and trembling with pleasure, so I assume I was quite vocal although it is a bit of a blur. I think my husband was embarressed though, as he has been pestering me to get a ceasarian for number nine. He just doesn't like to see me enjoy myself.

I recall shouting, "Oh God, Yes, Yes, Yes" (or was it No, No, No, For God's Sake No ........), during DSs birth

I think if he doesnt want to see you enjoying yourself then maybe he should get the snip

It hasn't been so satisfying the last few years, VirginNun, as he feels a bit small to me now, but we manage with fisting, which if I use all the time will be a good contraceptive too I think.

The icing is when the midwife sticks her finger in your anus to check that she hasn't sown your bumhole together by mistake because you split so badly during the birth!
