Probably Miss Judgey pants here. But surely if he's capably feeding himself with a spoon, it shouldn't be a crappy jar of baby food! And on a bus while mum talking on her mobile phone!

Guessing he was a bout 20 months as older than my ds but prob not 2. Was a bit shocked at the self feeding on the bus,and crap nature of it....

....flame away.....
I'm ready for it..

rasberry told ya I was clever

screaming hello, I am ok but getting very het up at the thought of going back to work tommorrow after FIVE YEARS arrggggh

psychomum5 · 23/03/2009 20:37

tomanykidstoname really is a one. on this thread further down she claims she has 6 children.

on the thread you linked to she had 7!!!(and that was only in december 08. and the youngest was 6mths then, now is 11mths,m which is fab aging in 3mths)

she has not only mislaid her ability to spell, she has also mislaid a child

screamingabdab · 23/03/2009 20:40

che You know what - if my experience (8 years out) is anything to go by, after the initial weirdness, you will find you are a better version of yourself: more assertive, more able to see the bigger picture, less prone to worrying about things going wrong/making a fool of yourself (coping with a toddler is enough to get us used to THAT). etc

Good Luck!

sorry to hijack

MsSpentYouth · 23/03/2009 20:40

i saw that too psycho but didn't want to bring it up in case one had passed away, but i did notice she had 6 babies yesterday and 7 today.

psychomum5 · 23/03/2009 20:42

well, to be fair, she did say she had too many kids to name.

maybe she also had too many to count today

PlumpRumpSoggyBaps · 23/03/2009 20:46

So, is it ok to feed your toddler on other modes of transport then?

Only, we're off to Florida in August. On a plane, which (I hope) will be moving for the whole 8 or so hours.

Given that I can't stop the plane while I feed him, and I can't bring my own organic lentil and mung bean mush, is it safe to offer him aeroplane food with- I dunno- a fork? (Inasmuch as it's safe for anyone to eat aeroplane food....) Or should I use my fingers? Or let him use his?

I'm very worried...

psychomum5 · 23/03/2009 20:47

how the FUCK can you fall pregnant while pregnant, unless you have two wombs (the only time I have ever heard about it, and that was classed as 1 in 100000000000000 possibility!).

you are seriously deranged if you really think we will belive you can have fallen pregnant 4wks before giving birth!!!

chegirl · 23/03/2009 20:47

screaming thanks for the nice hijack. we shall see. Its my dream job so at least I will be doing something I want to do. I will stop hijacking now and go and find something to wear.

psychomum5 · 23/03/2009 20:48

OMG, I have just understood and replied to a text-speak post after swearing to ignore all posts like that.

MsSpentYouth · 23/03/2009 20:50

So what happened when you gave birth to the first child?

how did you find out you were pg, did you have any postpartum bleeding?

please explain because i am struggling to understand???

tomanykidstoname · 23/03/2009 20:51

its a good job that i really don't care at all what a psychomum thinks of me then isn't it as i said before i can provide the proof

MsSpentYouth · 23/03/2009 20:51

How many weeks gone were you when you have birth to the 8 month old?

did you go to full term?

DSM · 23/03/2009 20:51

You can fall pregnant, whilst pregnant?

Please, show me how you did that.
Where did the baby grow? Why were you still making eggs?

MsSpentYouth · 23/03/2009 20:53

If everyone just lets tomanykidstoname explain, there may be a perfectly resonable explaination to this

psychomum5 · 23/03/2009 20:53

how can you provide the proof???

I am at a loss as to how you showing me birth certificate (which unless you are going to come to my house I cannot work out just how you are gonna show me them), then you really cannot provide proof can you!!

and lets me even more honest, if it were true, you would have been in the daily mail

DSM · 23/03/2009 20:53

Do you have two uterus'?

I have unlimited questions.

tomanykidstoname · 23/03/2009 20:53

iv carried on having periods through all of my pregnancies yes

pumpkinsoup · 23/03/2009 20:55

Ooh, just remembered the one and only time in an 'emergency toddler need meal' situation that I bought my daughter a sandwich and fed her at a table in a clean quiet cafe (M&S) instead of the emergency jar from the backpack in the buggy/shop doorway scenario - guess what - she had a serious allergic reaction. Still, must have been healthier than one of those evil jars hey? And I was watching my child eat, twas a real perfect parent moment, certainly didn't do her any good though! At least you know jars are what they say on the label.

psychomum5 · 23/03/2009 20:55

but having periods do not mean yoou are ovulating, does it!!

ScottishMummy · 23/03/2009 20:55

tomanyKTN you shouldn't have to take flak from this set of silly moos.they know nuffink

you area flippin medical gem simultaneously pg and in labour.god it must be like a dual carriage way up there all that action.comin and going

DSM · 23/03/2009 20:55

Noone, noone continues to make eggs when pregnant.

Some women do continue to have periods, but you are not making eggs.

So, you were 8 months pregnant, and you got pregnant again? Where did that new baby grow?

When the egg and sperm met and fertilised, where were they? Where did they meet? Next to your 8mo Foetus?

MsSpentYouth · 23/03/2009 20:56

so did you still have to use contraception throughout your pregnancies?

Was it in the paper?

How come you didn't birth your 8 month old when you were birthing your 16 month old?

did the drs have to take special actions

Did you know you were pg with the 2nd one before birthing the first one?
