PMSL how long has he been on with it?

TrillianAstra · 22/03/2009 21:46

YANBU

Surely you have something bigger than that.

Your kettle for example, they are usually 1.7 litres at the 'max fill' line.

katz · 22/03/2009 21:48

a little while! he has now advanced to using the jug and a 2 litre saucepan!

how much entertainment can one man provide!

'tis so funny!

Alambil · 22/03/2009 21:48

ROFL! garden hose?

katz · 22/03/2009 21:50

we don't have one!

he ruled out using the mop bucket as there was a risk to the fish from the floor cleaner residue!

this is fun to watch! i should set up a webcam, place your bets on when it will be full.

diedandgonetodevon · 22/03/2009 21:52

YANBU Pure entertainment value! Bless him

TrillianAstra · 22/03/2009 21:53

Has he got the fishtank in the kitchen or is he walking back and forth?

mrsmaidamess · 22/03/2009 21:53

Many years ago my dh tried to scoop out approximately 13 trillion of those teeny tiny polystyrene beans from a sofa sized bean bag with a litre jug. They stuck to his hair, his arm, everywhere. except the jug.

katz · 22/03/2009 21:53

is it mean to get the camera out and film it?

OP posts:
katz · 22/03/2009 21:54

trillian - walking back and forth!

JackBauer · 22/03/2009 21:58

katz · 22/03/2009 21:59

he's getting there, couple more trips and he'll be done!

its about 15 m each direction tap to tank!

OP posts:
psychomum5 · 22/03/2009 21:59

well, tis only 96 trips.

can you count him down........

BettySwollux · 22/03/2009 22:00

No, of course its not mean to film him, get the camera girl.
Do it, do it, do it!

FAQinglovely · 22/03/2009 22:01

Dh used to have a fish bucket - it was supposed to be used solely for emptying and refilling his tank,

One day DS1 was puking his guts out so I grabbed the nearest bucket...........

I wasn't very popular - he went out and bought a new one because of contamination risks

mrsmaidamess · 22/03/2009 22:01

It's like on Its a Knockout where they had to pour the water into the measuring cylinder. Is he dressed as a Giant?

katz · 22/03/2009 22:01

sadly he has now finished so misse the photo op!

he has gone for the min fill level rather than the max though! wonder why

OP posts:
Hulababy · 22/03/2009 22:02

katz · 22/03/2009 22:02

OP posts:
katz · 22/03/2009 22:05

QuintessentialShadow · 22/03/2009 22:05

This is going to provide you with entertainment for years to come.

How will he empty it? How will he clean it?

He does know he has to have boilt water for the fish?
