Cause I wouldn't say no, and he's not really my type!

Can I join the end of this orderly queue too? I so would.

I know, but I would forgive him because of his high standard of wit; because 'Lee and Herring' was such a fab programme, and because he peed off those religious fundamentialists to such an extreme degree.

Noel Fielding is an extraordinary looking human being and Simon is v.cute and wonderfully vicious.

My ultimate comedy crush is Rob Newman. My DH knew him at school, but refused to go to talk to him after a gig as he was seriously afraid that I might demand sexual favours (and he was right to worry).

wickedwitchofwestfield · 19/03/2009 12:14

I used to fancy the arse off of him when he was in fist of fun... I was about 12

... oh hell, I still think he's a bit dishy in a morrissey kind of way

doggiesayswoof · 19/03/2009 12:29

Heh heh - I definitely would

He is v v funny and I like his hair

I've realised I've started to go for guys who have aged and put on a bit of weight - makes them much more shaggable imo, the imperfections I mean

Bringing this thread back to life. Went to see Stewart Lee in Liverpool on Saturday night and he was reading less than flattering internet quotes about himself from twitter and the like and he mentioned Queenoftheharpies above quote from Mumsnet!! He was fantastic, as always, by the way. He is still rather dishy in a grumpy old man kind of way. I would happily buy his underpants.

EndoplasmicReticulum · 05/03/2012 19:30

dinkydoodah that is very organised of you to find the thread!

(saw him in Harrogate last week, wondered about finding the thread, couldn't quite be bothered, but knew what it was about when I saw you'd resurrected it).

hackmum · 05/03/2012 19:44

YANBU. I always find funny men very attractive, which is why I'm with my DP. In fact, I once said to him, "If you died, I'd have to marry Stewart Lee, because he's the only other person who makes me laugh as much as you." Fortunately, he took this as a compliment.

hackmum · 05/03/2012 19:45

Oh, I didn't realise this thread was three years old. But charmed to discover that Stewart Lee reads Mumsnet.

dinkydoodah · 05/03/2012 20:47

Forgot to add........has anyone noticed he is looking more and more like Captain Kirk aka William Shatner these days?

YonWhaleFish · 30/04/2012 08:38

Aw beaten to it by another! I too saw the show in manchester last night and he mentioned queenoftheharpies again! Grin I think it must be the name that tickled him!

auldspinster · 30/04/2012 12:22

Would second Rob Newman, he is v.sexy and has lovely skin (sat within 5 feet at his book launch a few years back. He said Hi another time and all i could manage was a high pitched squeek back.

I'd always had a wee crush on Stewart Lee back in the day but I saw him at the Fringe about 7 years ago and he seemed short and portly.

IKilledIgglePiggle · 30/04/2012 12:48

How funny, what did he say.

Stangirl · 30/04/2012 13:20

I know some people who went to university with him and 3 of them slept with him. I even had report backs from them - but I wouldn't repeat that here.

CrispyCod · 30/04/2012 13:55

He looks like the great unwashed.

NeedToSleepZZZ · 30/04/2012 15:29

Stewart Lee- definitely
Morissey- definitely
Richard Herring- good god no

YonWhaleFish · 30/04/2012 15:31

ikilled the same thing as doodah said above!
