Nah
Not nice

catMandu · 16/02/2009 19:48

I think there is a huge sense of humour bypass on this thread - LoveMyLapTop, I think it is flattering that a bunch of teenage boys would see you that way, perhaps those who are being all uptight about it know they'd never get the comment.

LoveMyLapTop · 16/02/2009 19:49

I wish I had never mentioned it!

OP posts:
nkf · 16/02/2009 19:50

That's right. Humourless AND ugly.

snooks · 16/02/2009 19:52

I would like it but pretend to be offended

But then again I am very shallow (and I only ever see OAPs sorry Senior Citizens in our village so chances of it happening are pretty slim).

noddyholder · 16/02/2009 19:52

God awful Just because a teenage boy says he'd like to f* you doesn't say anything about how attractive you are.they would shag anything better to have a genuine compliment about you from someone who means something positive.

WinkyWinkola · 16/02/2009 19:52

I'm so ugly. I couldn't ever pull a teenage boy with rampant hormones.

Dammit · 16/02/2009 19:53

I think there's been an intelligence bypass on this thread.

"Oi, luv, I'd fuck ya" isn't flattering - and that's what they're saying.

How common.

SobranieCocktail · 16/02/2009 19:53

I would be quite affronted if anyone shouted that at me. They'd get a telling off and a clip round the ear [battle-axe emoticon]

VincenzotheBanker · 16/02/2009 19:54

I agree wiht Noddy. When i worked with them they used to say their mate fancied me and my line was always
" well of course he does I am irrisistable".

that shut em up.

teenage boys arent discerning.

catMandu · 16/02/2009 19:54

oh per-lease, sometime I wonder if some of you live on this planet..

LoveMyLapTop · 16/02/2009 19:55

I dont think for one moment that they want to f** me
It is just a phrase from a film
a laugh
ha ha ha
Idont fancy teenagers and dont think for one minute that they really fancied me
Just a moment in my day

Bluesapphire77 · 16/02/2009 19:56

Whats an intleegense bye pass

WinkyWinkola · 16/02/2009 19:56

Oh sorry, I thought you were secretly pleased.

nickschick · 16/02/2009 19:56

Is it wrong to admit that my sons drama teacher saw a pic of me on the floor and said - 'ahhh a milf' then ds said actually thats my mum......said teacher said oh i thought it fell out of my wallet and it was a pic of 'my wife' ........ahhhhhh said all the kids 'you fancy xxxxxx mum- dont ya sir?' .......

independiente · 16/02/2009 19:57

Definitely amusing, I grant you. Pretty sure I wouldn't be 'chuffed' though... But you're not being 'unreasonable' for feeling pleased if you feel pleased...

LoveMyLapTop · 16/02/2009 19:57

Knew I should have started a thread about the old man farting loudly in front of me as we walked through the park
BUT
then I suppose that wasnt funny either or ageist

OP posts:
VincenzotheBanker · 16/02/2009 19:57

yes nick
wrong of him
SO SO wrong.

lilstarry1 · 16/02/2009 19:58

Wow.. I am prone to feminist tendencies but surely, surely, anyone with even a smidge of personality can see they were just being young? What's so disrespectful about complimenting someone? Yes, it is a bit vulgar but it's just a saying, they didn't explicitly say something obtuse!

The more I read here the more worried I get, apparently you can't touch another persons baby, but you can't leave a baby unattended for two minutes, and you can't appreciate a wolf whistle, and you must never saying anything crude I am clearly never going to cut it

MrsGuyOfGisbourne · 16/02/2009 19:59

YANBU - Have sadly not (YET ) had this particluar accolade, but on two occasions in the last year or so have had men make comments about how good I look as they walked past (not lewdly, just pleasantly and they carried on walking). On both occasions I was wearing fantabulous shoes (not expensive - I shop @ Primark & Matalan mostly , and it just made me feel good.Should a teenage boy say that to me, i would just smile, say nothing and carry on walking, but actually feel inwardly 15 again... What's so bad about that????? Not gonna jump their bones...

quint · 16/02/2009 19:59

Good for you!

I'll join you, I would also take it with a oinch of salt, laugh and be pleased I'd still got it!!!

As long as they're not too young, I'd treat like I would a builder giving you a wolf whistle - I do miss that!!!

Enjoy it and ignore all the sour pusses on here!

VincenzotheBanker · 16/02/2009 20:00

er
sexualisation of women by children
disrespectful
objectifying a woman

all the usual stuff
