To think DH should clean the ceiling himself?

So DH has made a mess all over the ceiling. He calmly sits down to watch TV whilst letting me know that it needs seeing to

Surely he should clean it himself??!

What was he doing?

Pennies · 29/01/2009 20:45

errrr. How did he make the mess?

QS · 29/01/2009 20:47

I would really like to know.

Last time I made a mess on the ceiling, I had to clean it up real quick, otherwise it would stain.

morningpaper · 29/01/2009 20:48

?!?!?!!?!?!?

peggotty · 29/01/2009 20:49

My mind is boggling at what this mess on the ceiling might be!!

Pennies · 29/01/2009 20:50

OOh blimey QS the focus is on you now - what on earth were you doing then??!!

QS · 29/01/2009 20:51

lets call it an "explosion" of sorts.

Involving something large, cold, and unfit for consumption after shaking.

lets hear what ops dh has done.....

Pennies · 29/01/2009 20:52

QS - oh please let that be a can of coke....

I would be giving him a bucket and mop, oh and a tin of paint to follow. Over his head if he didn't sort it out asap.

QS · 29/01/2009 20:54

No, better.

A 2 liter bottle of pepsi max. And the fridge was faulty, and kept only 2 degrees, so the bottle was nearly frozen.

Guess what happens to carbon dioxyde when you let air in....

GEYZIR!

HerBeatitudeLittleBella · 29/01/2009 20:55

LOL am having visions of him doing dancing on the ceiling, like in that old video

peggotty · 29/01/2009 20:55

'he calmly sits down to watch TV' - so he was standing when this stain occurred?

LemonSqueezey · 29/01/2009 21:25

No he was lying down watching Top Gear and got a bit excited. He then came downstairs to tell me he'd accidently made a mess.

Still, he's cleaned it now. My curtains need washing, however.

HerBeatitudeLittleBella · 29/01/2009 21:26

Sorry, I'm still not clear.

What is the nature of this mess?

MrsSchadenfreude · 29/01/2009 21:26

He's obviously a high flier!

morningpaper · 29/01/2009 21:27

Well I just it was Hammond and not Clarkson

morningpaper · 29/01/2009 21:29

I HOPE

Pennies · 29/01/2009 21:38

Are you sure you shouldn't have posted this in Relationships?

peggotty · 29/01/2009 21:40

It'd better not be something as prosaic as a can of lager, you've built it up too much!!!

QS · 29/01/2009 22:01

he what?????

Hassled · 29/01/2009 22:03

My mind is boggling. WHAT WAS IT???

Hassled · 29/01/2009 22:04

The only stains we have on our ceilings are the remains of dead mosquitos who have been swatted and then left. It's not really a top feature of the house.

peggotty · 29/01/2009 22:35

oh fgs lemonsqueezy!!!
