I know many things about crunchies, especially unusual and inelegant ways to eat them.

youknownothingofthecrunch · 13/01/2009 15:04

I know what you mean - it must be, mustn't it?

WORK!

sausagenmash · 13/01/2009 15:05

Sideways? Or rudeways? (hehe)

RIGHT I MUST STOP - my manager's office is next door...

sausagenmash · 13/01/2009 15:06

It might be something like Russian.....

I'm logging off. This is dangerous.

youknownothingofthecrunch · 13/01/2009 15:07

rofl

ElizabethanFilth · 13/01/2009 15:09

My nickname was pinched from somewhere else, then I made this one as it is a version of my old name with a twist, twist being a play on someone's job.
Yes I thought too much about my name.
I may just go back to the old one

ElizabethanFilth · 13/01/2009 15:10

yknotc...
Has a pink head

youknownothingofthecrunch · 13/01/2009 15:13

'Tis true, and tentacles

Are you Victorian Squalor?

MorrisZapp · 13/01/2009 15:13

lol, what a magic thread!

Morris Zapp is an arrogant, incredibly intelligent 70's Californian professor of English Literature who wears kipper ties and has big scary sideboards.

He is male, oversexed, a bit sexist too but strangely endearing.

Whereas I'm female and er... none of the above, just a big David Lodge fan.

youknownothingofthecrunch · 13/01/2009 15:17

Morriszapp I picture you as a small beetle car - not unlike Herbie - with large cartoon eyes stuck on the front.

MorrisZapp · 13/01/2009 15:23

lol

I am a wee bit like a cute wee car - lots of hot air and tragically unreliable, that's me!

And my glasses do edge towards comedy so the cartoon eyes aren't a million miles off either

MorrisZapp · 13/01/2009 15:24

ps I also start many sentences with the words 'You know nothing of...', particularly when addressing DP. It has a wonderful ring to it.

youknownothingofthecrunch · 13/01/2009 15:27

why thank you

Dropdeadfred · 13/01/2009 15:28

does everyne really think of Rik mayall when i post then...?

youknownothingofthecrunch · 13/01/2009 15:28

yup, sorry (although I used to quite fancy him)

ElizabethanFilth · 13/01/2009 15:39

possibly

CuppaTeaJanice · 13/01/2009 15:51

My name's not Janice, I hate tea, and I don't watch Corrie!!!

Dropdeadfred · 13/01/2009 15:55

I loved Rik mayall when i was a teenager

lilolilmanchester · 13/01/2009 15:56

I do think that some nick-names conjure up very strong images of what they look like. Not sure whether that makes me more or less likely to go to a meet-up!

giantkatestacks · 13/01/2009 16:14

MorrisZapp - I considered Onlyconnect for a time...

MorrisZapp · 13/01/2009 16:21

Ooh, a bit more literary than my guy, giant kate!

It would be wasted on these plebs anyway

LongDroopyBoobyLady · 13/01/2009 16:24

I am nothing like my nickname but for some strange reason DS calls me it!

Squirdle · 13/01/2009 20:23

Sausagenmash...how did you know

Princeonthemove · 13/01/2009 21:31

Everyone always thinks I am a man !
To be fair they don't know I am always on the pregnancy threads under my RL name!

sausagenmash · 13/01/2009 21:57

Hooray - this thread is fab! Squirdle - boo!

lilolilmanchester - wooo what a great name! Wasn't that the name of the woman in 'Bread'? Hehe
