how old are you spotty?

littleboyblue · 22/12/2008 21:54

So now it's not just about you being judged but about everyone being judged?
And do you really care how other people are judged?
Is this about you? Is it about those entitled to benefits? Is it about those who claim and get awarded when they shouldn't? Is it about people who work? Or those who don't? Those who rent? or those who buy?

IllegallyBrunette · 22/12/2008 21:58

Yes people on benefits do get judged on here, mainly by people like you.

The point is, that this thread wasn't about being on benefits, it was about you being shamed that someone thought you lived in a HA house. You were ashamed of that because you assumed that everyone in HA houses claim benefits when they don't.

kid · 22/12/2008 21:58

But your question was nothing to do with benefits. It was about HA properties which has nothing to do with benefits. Or have I missed something?

LucyEllensmummy · 22/12/2008 21:58

ROTFL - i don't think you get it do you. We KNOW there are a few cunts people on here who will start threads slating people on benefits. They tend to read the daily mail and get ignored or put in their place. So no, we really don't need any more links . Its not just on here, people judge in real life too - so what.

Not sure what my mum pays, or would pay if she wasn't on a pension and some sort of sick pay (scumbag scrounger that she is) but i think it is probably about the ball park you suggested £250 a month, a bit low maybe but then we live in a very affluent area so we do.

HOW OLD ARE YOU SPOTTY

spottyoldzebra · 22/12/2008 22:03

"ROTFL - i don't think you get it do you. We KNOW there are a few cunts people on here who will start threads slating people on benefits" that's not what people where saying earlier....

they where saying

"If people post saying they're claiming benefits fraudulently or that they're 'playing the system', people generally take a very dim view.

However, I've never read a thread yet where anyone who is rightfully or understandably claiming benefits has been told to "get off benefits".

I get the feeling I'm being ignored.

kid · 22/12/2008 22:07

This has got to be a windup.
I just feel sorry for the OP, they clearly don't have all the facts

2AdventSevenfoldShoes · 22/12/2008 22:08

omg the op is as thick as shit imo

IllegallyBrunette · 22/12/2008 22:17

I am getting really confused now.

Why are you bleating on about people claiming benefits ??

expatinscotland · 22/12/2008 22:25

YANBU.

Because most HA houses aren't nearly so ugly as that house.

ChristmasFairySantAsSLut · 22/12/2008 22:29

spotty, you said:
""If people post saying they're claiming benefits fraudulently or that they're 'playing the system', people generally take a very dim view."

Surely that would be an understandable stance to take?

"However, I've never read a thread yet where anyone who is rightfully or understandably claiming benefits has been told to "get off benefits". "

And surely this is equally understandable, because someone who is on benefits because of whatever situation they are in, well, it would be a bit simple to just suggest to them to get off benefits...i.e. it would be kinda ignoring the reasons why they are on benefits....

I don't think I am understanding....it doesn't make any sense, whatsoever...but that might just be me...
