Well its blunt and to the point and tbh since i shed 3 and half stone of flab, i'm constantly shivering!

I'm wearing 3 layers of clothes and the kids and my oh sit around in tshirts and shorts cos i have to have the heating on all the time

I'm overweight, and I'd be really upset and offended if you said this to me. I think it's a classic case of 'if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all!!'

After all - what good is it going to do? I bet she's well aware how much she weighs and doesn't need to be made to feel bad by someone who is, presumeably, slimmer than she is!!

To be frank, I think it would be a thoroughly nasty thing to say.

My MIL used to tell us she was so hot, it's like this every day she said. Well you could switch off the heating, its August. It was on at high. It never occurred to her.

I am quite fat (about 2 stone over).

I am very cold most of the the time. DH always begging me to turn the heating off or down.

I think its because I have the metabolism of gnat.

Hence why I am 2 stone overweight, even though I have a fairly small appetite/modest eating habits, and no weird issues with food whatsoever.

Someone recently told me I'm cold all the time because I'm underweight. I was like "no, it's because its WINTER" but I was quite offended.

I'm always cold despite the fat! Good reason not to lose weight then .

i am fat and feel the cold, due to having my thyroid removed, i would make me feel great if people made those kind of comments

go get yourself some PLANTAGO. They are herbal tincture. You can get it from health food store. 15 drops, 3 times a day. Really help with sinuses.

My MIL also gets hot all the time so when she visits she goes for a 'walk around the block' to cool off

I wish she'd be honest and say she's going for a fag. She's told dh she's quit when we all know she hasn't.
