Last year I went to sainsbos at 4am on christmas eve. It was dead!

This year I've been buying extra bits with the usual online shop to put away. We are'nt at home for xmas though and were so organised we've got a delivery to the cottage on the 23rd all done and dusted.

MrsMattie · 09/12/2008 16:34

No!@sep1712. I'm going to do similar

The only thing I couldn't get was sprouts and fairy lights.

But ah well.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 09/12/2008 16:41

Ididn't organise this year though, my crazy organised friend did.

It's my first christmas as a single mum so it's brill we are going to a cottage with loads of friends and their children and making merry.

sep1712 · 09/12/2008 16:41

sep1712 · 09/12/2008 16:54

i bet you can't devil. we went to mid wales in spring to a cottage and had a fab time.

hatwoman · 09/12/2008 17:03

i booked mine about a month ago.[smug] the thing is I absolutely have to remember to change it, because, at the moment, the only thing on it is 4 bottles of too expensive wine. Being nowhere near organised enough to know what we'll be eating I decided that rather than half do the actual shop I'd be better off "buying" any old thing to make the minimum order price. the wine needs cancelling and the food needs ordering [not so smug]

Hatwoman, I've done the same as you. Must, must, must remember to update it!

dingdongmerrilyonpie · 09/12/2008 17:56

you tried to book your xmas delivery 15 days beforehand

hahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhah ahah

you have to book in November. You also have to stay up till one minute past minute on the day they accept internet bookings so that you can be first.

Anyway, internet shoppings not all it's cracked up to be. Xmas wouldn't be xmas without the Tesco punch-up over the last jar of brandy sauce.
