I'm cynical about things like this, but I took all that to mean "Darling lenny, you often get yourself hip-deep in floozies to boost your flagging self-confidence and have done since early on in our marriage, but this time you did it in a dogging car-park and that really is an ickle bit slapped-wristy naughty, isn't it."

Urk, makes me shudder. Her attempt to be all those things - big, beautiful, sexy, cheeky, caring, intelligent, it's all a bit desperate. And I've never once found her funny, she's way too sure of her own funniness for it to work.

For the sending up of herself as a 'fat person' while at the same time claiming 'fat is beautiful'. And for the way her humour sends herself up - her facial expressions are what get my goat the most. And, to be frank, at her height I think 25 stone is not a weight to be proud of.

There are soooo few women confident enough of their own humour to make it in the mill that is the comedy circuit that I would guess they have to be at least on the face of it incredibly self confident in their own humour

I don't much care either way about the weight thing - obese / anorexic. If an anorexic woman pulled the same annoyingly inane faces as DF I'd dislike her just as much.

I just don't think she is very funny. French and Saunders seemed to be full of in jokes between them, and the Vicar of Dibley is just grotesquely cringeworthy. IMO of course, I am aware that these shows were popular
