to think that if you have numbers in your user name, you lack imagination and are plainly not trying hard enough to capture your persona using words.

snigger · 07/11/2008 10:32

Unless its 8008135

choccyp1g · 07/11/2008 10:34

Yeah, I'm pathetic. What happened was I tried to delete myself cos I was getting addicted, so then it wouldn't let me use my own name.

Cicatrice · 07/11/2008 10:39

I wouldn't have thought of putting numbers in my name. Reminds me of text speak which is for the young people.

Tortington · 07/11/2008 10:42

pmsl @ the young people!

choccy you need to think of another

YANBU. I also think it is a form of showing off as a lot of user names consist of their date of birth e.g. Clare1987. Makes me feel about a hundred years old, harumph.

Same applies to those who insist on having foodstuff in their names

VinegarTits12345 · 07/11/2008 11:00

YABU, whats wrong with numbers?

nickytwotimes · 07/11/2008 11:01

I've got part of my real life name in my nickname - how unimaginative am I? Oh, fuck, it's even 'nick' in my nickname...

nickytwotimes · 07/11/2008 11:02

Shite!
I've just rrealised I have a number of sorts in my name.
Bollocks.

VinegarTits · 07/11/2008 11:02

So twotimes is your surname then

nickytwotimes · 07/11/2008 11:02

I officially have the shitest mn name.

nickytwotimes · 07/11/2008 11:02

x-post. lol!

Saturn74 · 07/11/2008 11:03

I think numbers in usernames are cool, and for intelligent, happenin', out-there posters like me, man.
You lot are just jealous - and old, probably.
If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.
Nest of vipers, blah de blah blah, etc, etc.

beforesunrise · 07/11/2008 11:03

YABU. just because you are so wonderful and inventive and creative and have a gret username it doesnt mean everyone else who hasn't is lazy and unimaginative.

it takes a while to get into the MN thing and figure out that there is a mean competitive streak which extends to, and actually probably starts with, usernames!

VinegarTits · 07/11/2008 11:05

nah, nicky2times would be worse

nickytwotimes · 07/11/2008 11:05

True, vt, true.

I would NEVER do that!

NumberFour · 07/11/2008 11:06

I am proud of my number name!!

fourth child in my family

I AM FOUR, I embody fourness. in fact, I am as big as four bodies.

Four r us.

choccyp1g · 07/11/2008 11:08

Maybe I could change mine to Choccypigtoo, but then people might think there are more than one (1?) of me.

nickytwotimes · 07/11/2008 11:08

Yeh, numberfour - it's okay though because it's not expressed as a number but as letters, iykwim.

snigger · 07/11/2008 11:08

100101001001 for post of the week

Cicatrice · 07/11/2008 11:09

I wouldn't post anywhere without a mean competitive streak, whatever the user names were like!
