I would just love to wear bunchies but my hair is just to short to do that with so I may go and buy some fake bunchies

Cremolatorium · 24/10/2008 16:06

you will look like an Australian tour rep.

mamadiva · 24/10/2008 16:06

PAHHAHAHA!

I am 22 and wear my hair in bunches through the winter because I hate wearing hats ovr a ponytail and cant wear my hair down because its a PITA.

Judge away deary!

FfreckleFface · 24/10/2008 16:06

Awesome - love how you are embracing the young at heart thing, Sycamoretree!

Shall we get our skipping ropes out and play?

mamadiva · 24/10/2008 16:08

oH and they are always low down never the big stupid pokey out ones ancd are not tied with ribbon or nowt like that

Cremolatorium · 24/10/2008 16:12

yaboosucks

Sycamoretree · 24/10/2008 16:13

Yes FF - I am skipping as we speak

I do pony tail practically daily.

I do bunches, occasionally, LOW and tres J-Lo, on a weekend.

When I'm on a beach holiday, bunches are COMPULSORY and I'm sure I'll still be rocking that beach look when I'm 70.

Loud and proud!

Sycamoretree · 24/10/2008 16:15

yeah, well better than being like this!

Backatchya!

Urgh, no it looks ridiculous and not a little creepy. IMO.

Signed, Mrs Judgeypants

FlirtyThirty · 24/10/2008 17:43

I looked stupid in bunches at 7; I would certainly look ridiculous in them at 31.
However...if I looked cutesy, I might just do it anyway...

PuppyMonkey · 24/10/2008 17:45

Well, I wouldn't be able to do the bunches properly (without a bit of mousse anyway) so at least I don't have to worry about this one...

lljkk · 24/10/2008 17:54

Is a bunch the same as a ponytail? (Stupid Foreigner Alert). Or does it just mean lots of little pony tails? (??)

I don't want to use hairspray, I don't want very short hair but I hate my hair in my face unless I'm sitting still, so I usually have it back in, er... a ponytail or similar.

KatieDD · 24/10/2008 17:54

Completely agree my 8 year old looks daft in them now.

oh god, I knew it...I still wear pigtails and bunches, I'm nearly 30 and I know it looks a bit stupid, but in my defence - I had cancer 3 years ago, lost all my hair, and it's only been long enough to do anything with for about 8 months and I haven't quite gotten over the novelty of it yet so I keep doing daft things with it.

Do I get an exemption?

MegBusset · 24/10/2008 18:45

YANBU. See also women over the age of 25 who dye their hair.

Frazzledani OK you get an exemption as long as you don't go dyeing your hair pink/red/blue!

Janos · 24/10/2008 18:57

Now hang on a minute! What's wrong with dying your hair after 30?

Outrageous!

pramspotter · 24/10/2008 18:59

My hair is very long and wavy and I wear low bunches in the winter, not to work..just around the house and running into town. Worsk for me. I'll be wearing them when I am 72.

MrsGokWan · 24/10/2008 19:22

Well I'm sliding towards 45 and I wear bunches, ponytails and colour my hair, just recently purple and now thinking what colour to do next. I also wear short skirts

So shoot me
