It depends how you approach the beast I think...
I started on here when I really, really needed help. So I stuck with it out of need and because people were so funny/kind/helpful/intelligent.
I then found posts where I could be helpful, or thought I was being anyway and had a few rows and made a lot of mistakes. I sent things to some people and bought and sold as well...got lots of help and gave some back.
I don;t think I;m that interesting or clever at anything but I know I have put a lot of soul into it, you know, getting really involved personally on a few issues and taken on some of the burden I hope (well I really try to anyway)
People started to recognise me after a while which was a wonderful feeling but it wasn't the sole aim iyswim, I just needed to be here so I was. It goes both ways.
I don't think I rank among the heavies yet but that obv takes a lot more input than I've been able to give, some of us ahve been here years, done massive amounts of work behind the scenes, been tremendously wonderful to others in need...they are the ones everyone knows.
Apart from Kerrymum who is just completely barking,
Joke btw!
