I feel awful as she was an ok person and have worked with her for a few years.

Thing is she was doing something wrong, although not harming anyone really, and they needed my confirmation of it.

Feel really bad now, even though I was just telling the truth

you shouldn't, if she was doing something wrong and you told the truth, you did the right thing.

Mum2OliverJames · 25/09/2008 15:55

oh dear you have opened a canofworms

what she do? [nosey emotion]

Mum2OliverJames · 25/09/2008 15:56

btw i think you did the right thing too

what she do

canofworms · 25/09/2008 15:57

I can't really tell you for legal reasons (that sounds fancy doesn't it!). Also worried she may be a mumsnetter

OP posts:
imananny · 25/09/2008 15:57

what was she doing?

As WWW said, you didn't do anything wrong, you told the truth, and maybe if you hadnt, you might have got the blame, and been sacked yourself

forevercleaning · 25/09/2008 15:57

Spill.........comeon...

Idobelieveinfairies · 25/09/2008 15:58

You have been wicked.....but i may forgive you if you tell me whole story [nosey]

Not really i am messing..YANBU....you had to do what the bosses asked of you.

forevercleaning · 25/09/2008 15:58

bet there is a whole load of us wondering if it is one of OUR colleagues........

Tigerschick · 25/09/2008 15:58

You did the right thing.
Don't blame you for feeling bad about it - but you did do the right thing.

Maybe sharing the details would help ... [nosey]

Mum2OliverJames · 25/09/2008 15:59

awww i love a bit of juicy gossip

i bet she was stealing staples out of the stationary cupboard wasnt she

(nod once for yes twice for no)

Tigerschick · 25/09/2008 15:59

LOL at all the x-posts

canofworms · 25/09/2008 16:00

Ha ha!

I only work in a small place and there are only 5 of us in our team. That makes it worse I think.

It was nothing vastly wrong just taking the p* really

OP posts:
Charlee · 25/09/2008 16:01

If she was doing something wrong then she needed to be stopped so altough you feel like a bad person you are not.

[Charlee whispers - was she peeing in water cooler?]

ScottishMummy · 25/09/2008 16:02

never pleasant to be involved in any disciplinary action, will she get suspended, union representation etc

Idobelieveinfairies · 25/09/2008 16:02

i BET she was on mumsnet all of the time!

forevercleaning · 25/09/2008 16:04

oh its not me then with only 5 working there. I shall continue to pilfer the odd envelope..

Charlee · 25/09/2008 16:05

Was she leaving Raunchy Post-it notes on someones pc?

Mum2OliverJames · 25/09/2008 16:06

i bet she has been photocopying her bum

Charlee · 25/09/2008 16:06

Or her boobs

Idobelieveinfairies · 25/09/2008 16:08

So she must have been warned about this before hand you know formal warning and such?

Give is a letter to work with would you!?!?!

Does it involve a peice of office machinery??

Idobelieveinfairies · 25/09/2008 16:09

i meant us..i like this game...but i have to start dinner soon

canofworms · 25/09/2008 16:12

This is cheering me up no end! I seriously can't tell you but it is so mundane compared to what you lot are coming out with!

And yes, it's been down the warning/union rep/disciplinary line and all they needed was my word.

OP posts:
canofworms · 25/09/2008 16:13

Oh, and I have to go out for 2 hours now so I'll see what other suggestions have been made when I return

And thanks for making me feel better

OP posts:
Idobelieveinfairies · 25/09/2008 16:14

Ahhh it is a shame and we shouldn't be joking about it really....but she was warned!
