I'm dressed (had to for school run really) but I haven't showered today if that makes you feel any better. Nothing wrong with a pj day.

zazen · 16/09/2008 14:03

Who says you are a fat and lazy so and so? I don't!

I wear yoga style bottoms most days when I'm working at home. They're way comfier than trews or jeans. Especially as i have a lot of adhesions from a brutal crash cesarean, and trews' waistbands just dig in.

You wear what you like Knickersonmahead (though I'd take the knickers off if I was answering the door!!!)

Gateau · 16/09/2008 14:04

Who said you were fat and lazy knickers? Charming.
Personally I don't like to be in my pjs for too long after getting up - because it makes ME feel lazy.
But nowt wrong with anyone who's comfortable with it.

lulumama · 16/09/2008 14:06

depends.. if it is every day..it gets you in a different mindset

for me, being in PJS all day would make me lie on the sofa with havoc reigning all around

you are heavily pregnant though, so i will make allowances

what about wearing comfy clothes.. tracksuit or leggings rather than jeans and a soft t shirt or fleece...?

at the weekend, i tend to stay in PJS until late morning, as i do housework and hoovering, then i have a bath and get dressed.

If you aren't going out and have no school runs and aren't expecting company, then I don't see the harm in wearing PJ's. I often used to wear PJ bottoms in the day until lunchtime sometimes. Often wear casual jogging bottoms in the daytime now.

Rhubarb · 16/09/2008 14:16

Well I think you should. Turn up at Bloomings school in your pj's with a fag hanging out of your mouth shouting "Dwayne! Oi Dwayne gerrover 'ere you little rat! I'm freezing mi tits off 'ere!"

crokky · 16/09/2008 14:17

you do as you like in your own house!

cheesesarnie · 16/09/2008 14:20

whatever makes you happy.if that means pjs all day or knickers on your head thats groovy

wotulookinat · 16/09/2008 15:27

Rhubarb, oh my god, did you see me dropping my little Dwayne off at school this morning?

nappyaddict · 16/09/2008 15:30

me and ds always stay in pjs until we have to go somewhere - saves on washing my mum thinks its terrible parenting though but everything i do is terrible according to her.

wotulookinat · 16/09/2008 15:32

Aha - that's where living over 200 miles away from my mum comes in!!

bloomingfedup · 16/09/2008 15:36

Get a life. A thread about a thread. ffs

Gateau · 16/09/2008 15:39

A thread abut what thread, blooming?

bloomingfedup · 16/09/2008 15:40

Gateau

Yes this thread is reference to the pj at nursey thread.

wotulookinat · 16/09/2008 15:41

I thought it was the same thread - doh!

compo · 16/09/2008 15:42

it's just what you are used to as well
my mum would never ever dream of staying in her pjs all day... in fact she hasn't ever owned a pair of pjs afaik, always wears M&S nighties
so when I stay in mine all day it is an act of rebellion, if she knew she would be ed

Gateau · 16/09/2008 15:44

Oh right, are you sure? The OP said she didn't do school runs and had nowhere to go..

bloomingfedup · 16/09/2008 15:47

Oh, Gateau read the thread and see what i am refering to or stop trying to be a smart arse.

bloomingfedup · 16/09/2008 15:48

Funny how the OP said in the thread she is refering to that she has been round at her mates in her pj top and jeans this morning.

I'm not repling to OP attention seeking anymore - she is full of it.
