exactly imo if it doesn't look like a pj top it doesn't really matter.

My DD (4) and I have PJ day every couple of weeks - it's when she gets my completely undivided attention for the whole day and we just do what she wants to do so lots of watching Disney films, reading, dancing, cutting and sticking and hide & seek - lovely!!!
